We stayed for 2 weeks from 16th of may and have already booked to go again next year. I loved everything about this hotel and the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The only thing I became a bit bored of was the food however that's my personal tastes as my husband and kids were more than happy with the variety. The Thomsons kids club was fantastic in particular Loopey Lou nothing was too much trouble for her and my kids enjoyed it so much that was what they cried about leaving on the way home.

We have just returned from our 2nd stay at club turban.
We had the best 2 weeks ever, we are a family of 4. 2 children aged 8 and 4.
The kids club girls were great with the kids and they wanted to go to every session! Loopy Lou was fantastic!! She always went out of her way too make sure the kids were having fun, she even came to wave us off as we left. Even though she had finished work.
The hotel is great, perfect balance of relaxing and being entertained.
We was in the village this time and our room was lovely. All the staff was very helpful.
We enjoyed it so much we have re booked for next year and can't wait to go!
The entertainment team were also great, took time to get to know and talk to everyone.
Bar staff were great especially ChaCha.
Can't fault the place at all, great place for family holiday.

We have just returned from our two week family Holiday at the Grand Yazici Club Cub Turban Hotel in Marmaris / Icmeler Turkey. I went with my wife, two young Children as well as my parents. 6 in total. This is the second year in a row I have stayed at the club Turban resort and I can honestly say it was a fantastic family Holiday as it was last year.
I noticed a few changes from last year which included Free Wi-Fi around the resort, a kettle in the rooms and new safety deposit boxes in the rooms which are now free of charge.
As before we found all the staff very friendly and helpful, the Hotel was always very clean and had something for everyone to do. My Kids who are aged 2 and 6 didn't stop having fun from the moment we arrived and both made lot's of friends.

The Main Hotel block is very modern with excellent facilities although we stayed in one of the villas within the resort. The room and grounds were kept very clean all the time with the staff working very hard. The food and main swimming pool was also excellent.
There was a new block that was being built when we stayed last year. This has a new indoor swimming pool which now makes two in total, a good gym, sauna and steam rooms, along with a Turkish bath which is all included for the guests. The Kids loved the swimming pool area and the entertainment team worked very hard to keep people happy with optional pool games. They were all friendly and loved talking to the guests. The pool man (Sammy) who looks after the sunbeds and parosols was also very hard working. He works long days looking after the guests and always has a smile on his face. Every morning he had beds ready and waiting for us in our favourite spot. The Guest relation team are also really good making sure any unlikely problems are dealt with professional. The manager Alpay speaks excellent English and helped us last year when we needed a Doctor for my daughter and was again very helpful and friendly this year.
There are several bars all round the resort with our favorites being the excellent beach bar and the pool bar. We never found we had to cue for drinks and the bar staff were friendly, fast and hard working. In the evening we enjoyed going down to the beach bar were you can either site on tables, or relax on large cushions on the decked area. During the evening there are many options from going for a walk along the beach into Marmaris, or stay at th Hotel and watch the entertainment.
There are too many good points to right about really. In summary the staff were excellent, food excellent, pools and room excellent. We will be returning next year hopefully.

This was our first time to Turkey. I didn't know what exactly it was going to be like. It turned out to be our best holiday ever! So much so that we are going back again next year. The hotel Club Turban is outstanding and its five stars are well deserved. The complex is great, the food fantastic the best you will ever eat. There is something for everyone. You have your own private beach with a beach party ever night. Marmaris is great place to go, no one hassles you or bothers you. I highly recommend this hotel through Thomson. You must do the Jeep Safari its a great experience I wont say anymore as I don't want to spoil it for you but you wont be disappointed!

We stayed here for a week and had a very enjoyable time. There was a wide variety of good, evening entertainment was very good and most imporantly the bar was well stocked. The one downside was the layout of the hotel, we arrived at 1am and got lost attempting to find out rooms at one point there was a big group of us who had the same flight who were wondering around the grounds trying to find our rooms. The Thompson rep was briliant, knowledge of the local are was second to none and proved to be a god send whenever we had any problems or questions.

Returned from a weeks holiday here a few days ago. Had a really great time but the time just went too quickly!
We stayed in the main building with a family room, this comprised of two rooms, two bathrooms (one with bath with shower over, and the other with walk in shower cubicle) both bathrooms had hair dryers fitted. The room also came with a kettle and two cups with assortment of hot drink sachets, a fridge and a free to use safe (it was by far the biggest safe I'd ever had in a hotel room). The room was cleaned and beds made and also fresh towels every day.
The grounds were massive and the main pool was very big with plenty of sunbeds that come with mattresses and lots of parasols too. There were other pools dotted around too that others have mentioned on here. Or you could relax on the private beach or the jetty (all with sunbeds and parasols).
The food was the only reason I didn't give this resort the 5 stars, don't get me wrong, we never starved but it just wasn't the best all inclusive food we've had. The bar between the pool and the beach was good at lunchtimes though for burgers, spicy fried or curry fried chicken etc.
The staff were absolutely brilliant (both hotel and animation staff) always friendly and always helpful.
And lastly but by no means least was the Thomson Rep Michelle, she was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble for her to try to sort out if it meant your holiday went smoothly!
Just one tip, if you are a light sleeper like myself, take earplugs because some Germans cannot tell the difference between 1pm and 1am when they shout at the top of their voices going back to their rooms!

Just arrived back from our 2 week holiday. There were 5 of us, myself, my 9 and 7 years old and my parents.
The weather was really good to us. Mid to late 20s, early 30s so comfortable.

The room was cleaned every day, hair dryers, safe, fridge and aircon all in the room. TV channels weren't very good but we weren't fussed as we took music.
Air conditioning was a bit hit and miss - seemed to be better in the second week.

Loads of choice for breakfast - fresh omelettes, pancakes, fried/scrambled/boiled eggs, fresh pastries, cereal, fruit and lots more.
We opted for the beach bar at lunchtimes which usually offered, burgers, pasta, chicken, fish, chips, salads, etc
Evening meal offerings were varied but always tasty and lots of choice.
Childrens ice-cream tubs available in the kids club most of the day.
A variety of cakes on offer from 4:30 each day - delicious :-)
We tried a couple of Al'a Carte options - Italian (which was ok, pizza nice but we weren't too keen on the starters, salads and desserts.
We also tried the Asian on chinese night - this was fab, food tasted amazing - we all very much enjoyed this.

KIds loved the main pool - didn't seem overly chlorined. They were also mad about the aqua park - 3 slides - free of use within the grounds of the hotel - open for a couple of hours in the morning and afternoon - really fast - just like you'd pay for at an actual aqua park!! They weren't really interested in joining in with the kids clubs but my daughter did visit the dolphin reserve a short walk up the beach with them and loads of kids around did join in and they seemed to do a variety of good stuff. There are a couple of other, quieter, adult only pools, if you'd rather not be surrounded by families and noise.

The animation 'Crazy Team' have a schedule of activies that adults (and others) can join in on, they are all very friendly but they don't pressure you or get in your fancy if they sense you'd rather lay on your sunbed all day!! :-)

The beach was OK - not very big and the sand not very nice (not ideal for sandcastles) .It's a good idea to invest in some beach shoes as if you want to go in for a swim there are several meters of tricky stones, pebbles under the water that are painful to walk on. There are some floating platforms about 100 meters out which the kids enjoyed swimming or floating on their lilos too.

We didn't venture out of the hotel much - we took a dolmus - one of the little shuttle buses up the road a bit and visted a shopping centre and a few of the smaller shops for a bit of retail therapy and we also did the Dalyan Discovery trip which takes you to the mud baths, to a restaurant for lunch and then onto a boat to view the historical sites and turtle beach. It was a really good trip and the tour guides really know their stuff and speak excellent english.

After the nightlight 'Mini Disco' for the children (which my daughter loved) there is a nightly show - each night a different professional act - acrobats, gymnasts, dance acts all really good and entertaining. Probably the best I've ever seen on holiday (and I've been to 10s of hotels in the baleric islands or the canary islands). There's a disco with a good dj after this if thats your thing if not there are several different bars you can enjoy a drink in. Our kids enjoyed spending the latter part of the evening in the games room playing table tennis or pool.

The first week was quieter, the second week was busy i'm guessing as it was half term. Still had no trouble queuing at the bars or getting a table at dinner. There were several nationalities staying at the hotal, mostly british, turkish, russian, polish, german and a few scandanavians, everyone was

I wasn't sure about Turkey, I hadn't been before. I've been to greek islands a couple of times and have always gone back somewhere spanish as the greek holidays just didn't have the same feel. But I can honestly say this holiday was as good as the best spanish holidays I've been on. The staff and shop keepers were friendly - everywhere was really clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone as it has something for everyone. The reception staff are really good and accomodating. We certainly wouldn't hesitate going back!

Room Tip: Request a room in the main hotel where possible as some of the bungalows are a trek from the facilit...
