First time in Icemeler and not disappointed, stayed in fortuna Hotel all inclusive, which was lovely.Food was ok if you liked chicken but always something to eat puddings were excellent, went out for food which is brilliant value for money in Icemeler.Hotel may need slight update and is very clean and runs efficiently. All the staff were very helpful and polite and worked very hard and long hours and made our stay an excellent one.would like to thank ramsdan on the beach who helps to look after your stay on the beach front, also berat, selman, sugar and all bar staff that made us feel welcome and looked after us and would recommend the Turkish bath and massage which was brilliant and looked after you thank you will hopefully be back next year.

Had another lovely stay at Fortuna Beach, and some improvements on last year. Staff seemed more attentive and even friendlier this year, was nice to see a lot of staff from last year. We arrived at 22.00 and were asked if we were hungry and would we like something to eat - we were, so had some soup, bread, cheese & salad. This was not offered last year - we arrived perhaps an hour later last year, so perhaps this was why. We travelled with my parents, and on checking in the staff apologised that they were unable to put us on the same floor - not a problem in the slightest. My parents were actually given an upgrade to a suite, which was lovely and spacious. We were both happy with our rooms. There were small bottles of toiletries in the bathroom, can't remember them from last year, so think these are a new addition. Also kettle, mugs and glasses in the room and supplies of tea/coffee/sugar. Both the toiletries and tea/coffee were replenished when used.
As with most all inclusives, food does get a little repetitive when staying for 2 weeks, but always tasty.
On our second day we all enjoyed a sauna followed by Turkish bath and face masks. Our skin felt lovely afterwards. The day before we came home, three of us opted for an aromatherapy massage, again really pleased. The staff in the spa are all lovely and the prices compared to what you would pay in the UK are amazing. I am surprised they are not fully booked! I think though, they would get more customers if they advertised the prices, as I know us Brits do not like asking for prices, we like to see them shown! You just assume it is going to be really expensive. I will definitely be using the spa again on future visits to the hotel.
The cleaners do an amazing job, no matter how late you leave your "please clean room" notice on your door, it is always done by the time you get back to your room late in the afternoon.
Only downside, nothing to do with hotel, is being woken every morning any time between 06.00-07.00 by bin men and their noisy vehicles. Look forward to staying again in the future.

Room Tip: Last year we were kept awake by those at the bar, so would recommend a room overlooking the canal in...

just returned from a fantastic two weeks at this gem of a hotel. The staff from the man who cleans to the bar staff are absolutely amazing and they all seem to enjoy their work a big thank you to the beach guy always finds a sun bed. I would definitely return here. Everything about the hotel adds to the enjoyment. I'm there is no entertainment but not everyone wants it. Keep up the good work.

I went to the Fortuna Beach week of the 15th for 7 nights in all inclusive.

This made it a perfect hotel for staying by the pool with a drink. We had a ready supply of a combination of beers and mixer drinks with the local spirits from 10am to 11pm. Some drinks were not inclusive, such as Turkish Coffee, cocktails, Raki and branded spirits, but it wasn't extortionate. The food on offer was very varied and regular, and breakfast was served from about 7:30 through to about 10:30 which was very convenient. I would suggest avoiding the 4pm fast food option, otherwise it leaves you too full for dinner. As a caffeine fiend, I found it convenient that there were two coffee machines, which did some top notch coffee.

There is a barber on site for Turkish Shaves and haircuts, which I was happy with, and the spa had inclusive Turkish baths, but massage was a little extra. My friends liked that.

Most of the time was spent in the hotel near the pool and bar area. Although we went to the beach once, I felt that it didn't really matter that the Fortuna was so close to the beach. The hotel does have a beach area and if you are staying at the hotel, the guy on the beach should find you a sun lounger and shade quite easily. The sea was clean but especially salty.

The area around Icmeler was generally peaceful and although there were a lot of bars and restaurants, I got the feeling that it was mainly a place for couples and relaxing. Marmaris is a lot busier, and is probably better for clubbing and going out. I didn't understand haggling very well and found it difficult to walk into a shop without prices on anything, though pretty much everything is fake or touristy. Over time you learn caution enough to not assume things are free and always ask how much something is in advance before accepting. The largest shop for fakes is the Authentic shop in Marmaris. We went to a couple of restaurants, and the food was always excellent, and since they look after you, they get lot of repeat business and most the people you see are regulars.

Culturally, I decided to go on a few coach trips, and went for a try dive, took a trip to Ephesus, and did the Dalyan checkout, which I can really recommend. A few of the trips start with a stop off at a culturally relevant "craft centre", where you are shown the traditional techniques and then offered to buy something such as Turkish pottery or carpets, which are mass produced somewhere else. Ephesus was amazing, though there are lots of other sites around which are likely less popular, such as Kaunos. The Dalyan checkout was really good as it gives you a nice wind-down, meals, and a hotel for a shower before the airport, rather than living in the lobby like a vagrant on the day you leave.

Having not stayed in an all inclusive hotel before, but knowing Icmeler well & being used to half board we were a bit dubious about staying here. Wow what a surprise. We arrived at 1am on 28th June, we had a warm welcome from Firtek on reception, were given a refreshing drink & quickly shown to our 3rd floor room. Getting up we found we had a lovely side sea view, our room was really clean with a comfortable double bed & a decent size shower room. There is plenty to choose from at Breakfast with fried eggs & omelettes cooked to order if you want them.
We always ate outside on the terrace which overlooks the Canal. The pool is a bit small but we always went to the Beach which is only 50m away ,with free sunbeds & where Ramazan the friendly beach man always took good care of us. Most days we went to the hotel for something to eat during the day where there was a good variety to eat of salads, cheese, meats & desserts & with the bar open all day......brilliant. The evening meal also offered a wide range of dishes & the Chefs were also using the barbecue, try the kebab meat & the rice with Lamb in it or the wraps mmmmmm.
All the staff here are friendly & cannot do enough for you, but a special thanks to Firtek, Deena & Unus on the reception, Selman & Ufuk at the bar, Mehmet, Barut & Memet in the restaurant, the Chefs, Seluk & Nuh ( cant remember the others ) our maid on the 3rd floor & again to Ramazan on the beach. We really liked our first stay in an all inclusive hotel & Icmeler is a lovely resort to go to we will go back again & probably to the Fortuna Beach.
