Just back from a 2 week stay at aes club. Having read some negative reviews prior to our trip, I was feeling rather dubious about our stay there so emailed the hotel with my concerns. They responded within a matter of hours to reassure me that although there had been some issues they had now been resolved. The management clearly care about their guests opinions and do their best to ensure a positive experience.
The rooms are nice and the food is really delish. All of the staff were lovely and friendly but the true jewel in the crown of the aes club is the entertainment team. Big Leo is a fantastic mc and all the kids loved Jolly, but Yigit and Emre are the true stars of the show. They are so full of energy and go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having fun.

We have just returned from a week stay at Aes Club (24th July) and don't have a bad word to say about it.

From arriving late at night to our last day the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them, one of the best teams of staff we have ever come across. In particular, Murat who went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

We had a ground floor room with a view of the kids playground. This actually turned out for the best as our room was shaded most of the day, resulting in a nice cold room without the A/C blasting. Our room was at the back of the hotel so we heard nothing at night although the entertainment/bar finished at midnight so no need to worry about not getting any sleep.
The hotel is very family orientated with something for everyone, although we travelled as a young couple with no children we did not feel out of place and could be as involved (or not) with the activities as we wanted. There was no pressure to get involved - which I liked!

We chose to go AI to give us the option (as I was already aware how cheap Turkey is) the food in the hotel was typical buffet food, nice but limited choice. We chose to eat out quite a bit during our holiday, simply because of how accessible and cheap the restaurants were. Within 5 mins walking distance there is an abundance of restaurants offering cheap but amazing food (2 starters, 2 mains - boyfriend had steak, 3 drinks each and still less than £20 per head).

The hotel is in a perfect location, straight out of the hotel and you are in Ovacick - a strip with bars, restaurants and supermarkets (which we found to be a lot cheaper than the hotel shop). 10 minutes walk down the hill and you are in Hisaronu - much livelier, more restaurants, late night bars and where you can find all your 'genuine fakes' (tip: take English money if you are wanting to buy these - they prefer it) Olu Deniz is a dolmus ride away, cost us 3TL each (taxis are available) this is where the Blue Lagoon and beaches are - definitely worth a visit.

We travelled with Thomsons and chose to book a couple of excursions with them. One of which was the Turkish Baths which I would highly recommend. We paid £22 each for the baths and hot oil massage both of which were amazing and definitely worth money. The other excursion was the Dalyan Checkout, this included mud baths, boat ride to 'turtle beach' and a late check out at a hotel closer to the airport due to our late flight home. Although we were glad we experienced the mud baths and had the late checkout, we found this trip a little disappointing on the whole. On this basis we wouldn't recommend this trip.

All in all an absolutely fantastic holiday. Thomsons, the hotel staff and the location were all amazing. We would definitely return and we cant recommend this hotel enough!

12th july- 26th july...
this was our first time to turkey and certainly won't be our last.. the hotel is spotlessly clean and modern, the staff are amazing and so friendly they go out of their way to do anything for you and make sure that your having a great time!! the animation team are fantastic with both the children and adults, they work so hard from morning till night. There was different acts on each evening in the 2 weeks we were there which i think is excellent so your not seeing the same acts twice!! my daughter met some lovely friends as so did i. Hisaronu is just 10min walk away or a quick taxi ride for 10tl.. the shops are amazing!! next year i'm taking more spending money!! Already been looking at prices for next year.. book this hotel and you won't be disappointed from the food, location, staff everything was just perfect!!
Hats off to AES Club.. keep up the hard work and see you next year!!

If you have read anything bad about this hotel then read on with interest......

This was our 2nd time to this hotel and you often don't get the same feeling as the first time. However this was in a lot of ways better than the first time. There was so many repeat guests from last year, it was like meeting up with old friends.

All the restaurant and bar staff are fantastic and are up for a laugh, nothing is too much trouble for them. You get the feeling they really want you to have a good time and go out of their way to assist you wherever they can.

All the management team are fantastic and are on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly. Aysegul (General Manager) is there early in the morning through to late at night, seven days a week. Her English is fantastic and she is always willing to talk to the guests. You also see other members of the senior management team, Feridun and Ahmet around the hotel and they are willing to assist in any way they can.

The animation team Supervisor, Leo, came to the hotel mid July. He, along with his team Ahmet and Jimmy worked tirelessly day and night to ensure you were entertained. They were fantastic with the young children also, ensuring they weren't left out of what was going on. The mix of the animation team along with the entertainment brought into the hotel was great and there wasn't a dull moment.

In respect of the food, there was always something to eat and even the fussiest of people will find something. The children are well catered for throughout the day via the snack bar. The drink is also of a good quality, Efes beer and branded soft drinks. You can also get local alcoholic cocktails as part of the AI which isn't something you get everywhere.

Location wise, you are a 10 minute walk to Hisaranu and it only costs approximately £3.00 in a taxi.

With some two week holidays, you get the feeling you are ready to go home after about 10-11 days but myself and the family would have happily stayed on for another week at least.

All in all this topped last year and a lot of this was down to the staff and the other guests we met, some new and some returning. Book this hotel and you will get the bug and want to return again.

Room Tip: All the rooms are of a modern/good standard. If you like an early night or have young children then...

Stayed for two weeks and had a great time the food was totally amazing well done to all the catering staff! The staff from the entertainment team , bar staff and waiters made us feel so welcome, the only two moans I had was when you needed a bit of quite time away from the music you had to venture down to child's pool and also the sun beds being squashed in with very few umbrellas for shade. Would highly recomed for all age ranges. We had a problem with our room when we first arrived but was quickly sorted out and was given an attic room which was very nice, also a great location to walk to ovacik and hisarano, dolmus run every 4minutes at top in oViacom but at peak times such as 7/8 at nite they were very busy and sometimes we ended up walking down, would also highly recomed the trip to saklikent gorge! IIt's a fantastic day out thanks AES loved our holiday :-)

We've just returned from 10 days at Aes Club, what a fantastic holiday!! We arrived quite late and were greeted by lovely staff and taken promptly to our room. We stayed in an Attic room which was perfect for us, nice and spacious and very clean and the rooms were cleaned every day. The restaurant was fabulous with plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We particularly enjoyed the omelettes that were made fresh every morning and a big thank you to Ahmet for his beautiful bloom bread and cheese bread and the service from all the staff! The pool area was great with plenty of sunbeds. We would like to thank the amazing entertainment team, Leo, Emre and Jimmy for making our holiday so enjoyable with all sorts of activities in the daytime, as well as fantastic entertainment in the evening. They were so so friendly and welcoming!! The location of the hotel was very good, just a short and cheap taxi ride to Hisaronu where we enjoyed some lovely meals out at Shine Indian and Castellos.

We would definitely return and are already looking for next year. Thank you Aes Club for a wonderful holiday!!

We stopped at the AES for our 3rd time in may. We took the parents. Lol.. Again a great holiday...
The food here is great and there's always something..... even for the fussy eaters.
We went out to eat a couple of times locally... only for a change as with any all inc when visiting the restaurant night after night u need that change...
Def recommend the yengec round the back... Fab food.

This yr the entertainment staff had changed Charlie and cihan had gone and only sophie was left. the new lads? they didn't make her life easy in fact they were useless lol. I know they were new but crikey!! Luckily they have been replaced as reading previous reviews things are a lot better. As for sophie she will definitely be missed as I hear she's moved on to pastures new.. X good luck soph....
People say the sunbeds are a bit rammed in. Well in some ways they are but u know that from the photos. ( friendly chats).
The new built up sunbathing area at the far end made heck of a difference tho and is great. Just shows the m'ment listen to reviews... There was even a clothes airer on the balcony wall ( something that had been mentioned last yr )....
We stopped in an attic room this time... And yes i banged my head a couple of times... But a lovely clean well kept room which in no way is as bad as some people say.

All in all love this place. Just booked to go back for our 4 th visit in a few wks. Can't wait
