First of all, let me thank Deirdre and Bob, who could not have worked harder to make our stay so memorable. And of course Breezy the dog and the calm, handsome horses... our kids still miss them all!

This is simply a superlative place to stay. The top-notch quality of everything - from construction, to equipment and decor, to the meals and facilities, and the professionalism and attention to detail of the hosts - we simply could not recommend anywhere more highly than Warren Farm Lodge.

This is a wonderful balance of top-quality accomodation and home-from-home care and comfort, whether you're looking for a quiet break, or a country house to take your kids (our 9 and 10 year olds had a blast!). And with things to do nearby and a train ride of only 45 minutes to London, this is definately the place to stay.

It's true that the Bedfordshire countryside cannot match The Cotswolds, Chilterns or West Country, although it is still green and perfectly pleasant. But the quality of the accommodation and thoughtful kind hospitality at Warren Farm is unsurpassable. The size of the rooms you will have available to enjoy really is quite awesome (and I'm English and don't use the word "awesome" to mean simply good). Your jaws will drop when Bob or Deirdre show you round the place. Honestly, believe me. Treat yourselves. You and your kids (or just you if you are without kids) will have a memorable stay. And I say all this when the weather we had was dreadful. If you are lucky enough to get good weather when you stay...you will be in heaven.

We live in the US, and needed to somewhere in this area... What luck!
This is a very special place, its a barn conversion of a very high standard, rooms are very comfortable, people are very friendly, breakfast superb!
Within striking distance of London.
I think we were luck to get in.

A wonderful place to stay ! We had a warm and friendly welcome and were amazed at the standard of the rooms. The attention to detail was superb and every possible need had been anticipated and provided for. The well stocked fridge in the room with complimentary drinks was a lovely touch.
We had a super nights sleep and breakfast was exemplary. We aim to revisit in the summer ! Definitely a 5 star b and b !

Stayed here for a break at New Year. Went by train and was picked up and dropped back at the station. Excellent hosts especially as the lady of the house was Scottish! The room was delightful, light and airy but cosy in the evening. Every need catered for and in the fridge was a lovely bottle of white wine. If I wanted anything that wasn't there all I had to do was ask. The bed was very, very comfortable, best nights sleep I have had for ages as I don't sleep well....... Lovely countryside for walking and in the summer the gardens I imagine will be beautiful, in fact I have booked for a few days in June to enjoy the peace of their courtyard and front terrace. The breakfast was delicious with lovely coffee and very tasty local produce, can't wait to go back for the sausages!!
A log burner in the sitting room is a welcome sight when you return from your walk and sit with your cup of tea and cake.
I would recommend this lovely barn conversion unreservedly as the place to stay if you want a few days of R&R to get away from the hub-bub of life!!
