I only stayed one night but found this hotel excellent. The rooms were very nicely decorated and clean with comfortable beds and even a mini bar in a basket! The hotel was quiet at night. Great food and very friendly staff. Highly recomended.

This was a special offer - three nights for the price of two & it was superb. A freezing cold outside was more than compensated by the warmth within. The service was outstanding from every member of staff who all went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. Food was varied, reasonably priced and varied. Breakfast was superb. A fantastic location with wonderful views.

My wife and I and two friends stayed as a mid week special price Birthday treat ,I have to say that everything we experienced was nothing short of first class.
The room, the evening meal the breakfast the next morning all fantastic.
If you are the people friendly type ,and want to be receptive to a little bit of North Norfolk hospitality at its best, get booking at the Red Lion.

We sre regulars to North Norfolk and The Red Lion ticks all the boxes. From the moment you arrive you are treated in a personable professional manner as if you were a local. The rooms are clean with great fittings, the beds comfortable and the views great. The bar has cosy log fires, great sea views and a wonderful menu whether it be for Lunch, dinner or breakfast.

Room Tip: The sea viewrooms such as 7 & 8 are great and a smaller double on the top floor which is 15 is also great

I visit Cromer and the surrounding area regularly and have visit the pub before but not eaten there for years. However on a recent trip I ate there twice. It was lovely, very welcoming, accepted the dog sat under the table and the food was top notch. Everything was freshly cooked and nothing was too much trouble. It was very cold over the weekend so it was nice to sit in front of the fire and while away some time before braving the elements.
I can't say enough about this place, if you are in Cromer go for a meal you won't regret it!
