Cromer Country Club is part of Diamond Resorts. Room was well presented and clean, We were quite impressed with it as it had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. Our room was a studio type upstairs it had a dining table one end soffa and chair in middle and a very comfortable bed. Room service twice during our stay. The restaurant had the same food menu as the bar but the food didn't look to bad. Recreational facilities looked good spar swimming pool etc. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is a short distance from town and if you play golf your next to one of the best golf clubs in north norfolk ( Royal Cromer).

We had been meaning to visit for ages and finally made it last week. Cromer Country Club is part of Diamond Resorts and we booked last minute. Our accomodation was just right and well appointed. The lesure facilities were first class with pool, spa, steam, gym and sauna.
We decided to self cater so did not try the bar or restaurant but those we spoke to rated it highly.
With a safe clifftop walk into Cromer and a great beach that goes for miles what is not to like. For foodies Cromer crab is world famous and not be missed.
Finally just next door are the delightful links of Royal Cromer Golf Club who pride themselves on providing not only a good golfing test but a warm welcome to visitors.

Room was well presented and clean, We were quite impressed with it as it had everything we needed for our 3 night stay, and would have been fine for a week or more for a couple.
I believe there are renovations in progress, and our studio had presumably been refurbished as the decor looked less than a year old.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything that you need.
The bed was comfortable and I think it was a king size too as seemed bigger than our standard bed at home.
Pillows were comfortable too.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5, as our only gripe was the poor wi fi connection (which they charge for) so don't bother with that, and the plumbing, in that:

1) The water was VERY hot, too hot, UNSAFELY HOT... The outlets should have a thermostatic mixing valve fitted to reduce the temp to 48 degrees Celsius (this is a health and safety regulation for all new builds and refurbishments) there were notices that stated "VERY HOT WATER" but this is no use to those too young to read them, or those who do not speak English!
This could result in a legal action should someone get scalded (Take heed Diamond resorts and tell your contractors to fix this error ASAP)

2) During the refurbishment, which seems to have been done generally very well, they have unfortunately also skimped on the shower cubicle.
They have installed the smallest (and therefore cheapest) cubicle and fitted and electric shower.
The result is, that if you are larger than a slim teenager, you will struggle to wash yourself without banging your elbows on the handrail and soap holders and shower unit that clutter the inside of the small cubicle.

The flow of water out of the shower was so poor, that you need to do a kind of Hula dance to get wet (I think I could urinate faster!) which given the afore mentioned size, is not really possible.

I would say to Diamond resorts "Spend another few hundred pounds on the plumbing when refurbishing the rest of the units, and you will receive better feedback.

We booked through a third party website and paid £40/night for the room, which I think is pretty good for what we got, I would have been much less pleased (with the poor showering facilities) had we paid the standard £120/night.

There was some noise from the upstairs villa at times, as you could hear people moving about and floors creaking (and at night people snoring) so I think there are still soundproofing issues to be addressed.
If you are a light sleeper, ask for an upstairs villa.

Parking in high season may be an issue, as it was pretty full in cold/rainy November.

They Have 4 disabled parking bays, two outside reception and two just a little up the hill, they are on a first come first served basis.

All that said, the staff were very friendly and professional, throughout and the bar and restaurant were well staffed and clean, the food was good and arrived at the table in good time, and was hot.

We would definitely go there again to use as a base for exploring Norfolk if we could get it for the same price.

Ten of us went for a girlie weekend. The accommodation (1 bedroom sleeps 4) was very comfortable although for the same apartment you either got a TV in your bedroom or a dishwasher. We went to the bar which was pleasant, the food looked good, the entertainment low key. Swimming pool was very nice. We struggled to get a taxi and all the companies listed in the brochure recommended one that wasn't listed - Bernie's I think and he took all off us to a greek restaurant Constantia in West Runton on the Saturday which was excellent with great entertainment. Nice walk into Cromer - top of the site and across the cliff took 15 minutes. Recommend going to the life boat museum and shop at the end of the pier. I would go back - excellent value although Cromer is a bit tired.

Room Tip: It is built on a hill, quite steep steps in places.

Just returned from a two night stay in a one bed apt. Fantastic facilities and each and every staff member was kind and considerate.
Close enough to walk in to Cromer for a little bit of shopping. Used Bernie's Taxi to take us to the Greek restaurant in East Runton. The mini coach arrived promptly, the driver was brilliant and we had a smooth journey to the Greek. That was fantastic and well worth a visit. And again on the return journey the mini coach was there waiting. A very relaxing weekend.

Room Tip: A lot of steps let them know if you have a problem coping with steps and they will try and help as b...
