“What a good find!”
Reviewed 30 August 2011

I booked this hotel for my sister and her husband for a few nights stay in early August.
I telephoned to ask about availability and the lady who answered said yes no problem and asked me to come and see the room. I have travelled a lot and stayed in many dodgy B&B's in my time so I thought I better have a look.
When I arrived I could tell by the brightly painted yellow front door with no finger marks on the glass that I didn't need to see the room but I did anyway. The place was spotless, even the path outside.
My sister and husband said it was the best B&B they had ever stayed in and apparently the breakfasts were amazing with quality produce.
If you have any doubts about staying here then don't it is really a nice place with friendly owners.

Had a second very enjoyable stay at Croft House. This time we were in a bedroom at the rear of the property so view immediately down into pretty garden, but generally over a car park. The room with a four poster bed is very comfortable, with a separate large and luxorious bathroom, great for a relaxing soak after a day wandering round the North Norfolk coast. Highly recommend the welcoming hosts Glenda and Mike. Oh, and the breakfast keeps you going all day long!!

Would highly recommend this B&B, were made to feel feel really welcome and had a lovely, spacious room with balcony.
Great location within Cromer and perfect location for first visit to Norfolk.
Lovely breakfast and nothing too much trouble.
Thank you Mike and Glenda!

From the first phone I knew we'd enjoy our stay at Croft House. It is very professionally run, but also very friendly. Mike and Glenda are the perfect hosts - offering refreshments on arrival and plenty of great ideas and advise on where to visit and where to eat. We stayed in the Master Suite, which was very spacious, clean, comfortable and great value. Also, only a brief wander down the road into the town. Would highly recommend Cookies - a 10 minute drive into Salthouse - bit of a strange set up with the sheds etc - but a fantastic range of seafood, including crab. All in all a great weekend spent in Cromer - would highly recommend Croft House and Cromer.

Just returned from 2 nights at this superior B+B, only wish it had been a longer visit. From the initial telephone call with Glenda to our leaving we could not have been in better hands,
The welcome we received was lovely, it felt as tho we were meeting old friends. The master en suite room is lovely, with a tiny balcony for 2 to sit with a bottle of wine and watch the rest of the world go by. Yes you can JUST see the sea from the balcony. There was an offer of tea, coffee or a cold lager on arrival and the room had all the facilities you could want. The breakfast was delicious and kept us going until our evening meal. Glenda is very knowledgeable about local attractions and recommended a very good day out on the Bure valley steam railway. We also took a trip on the Norfolk Broads in conjunction with the train ride and this is good value for money.
We will, without a doubt visit Glenda and Mike again, for a longer visit I expect!!

i have been here several times and i cant fault the place, the ownders Mike and Glenda have researched the hotel industry very well and that is reflected in the rooms, everything u could ask for is there, the outside doesnt do it justice to what u see inside, once u get shown to you room you will fing cleanliness, and organisatin galore!stayed in the double room and the en suite is huge with a lovely bathroom, rather than a couple of towels in the bathroom there is a linen cupboard with a choice of many so u dont have to ask, u are offered a drink when u come in, women in particular everything is supplied for personal needs, breakfast in the morning is cooked fresh to order, the sausages were perfext and conversation with the owners flowed, the location is a 2 minute walk from the town, beach, parking, what more could u ask for along with such good value?i recommend this place to anyone.
