Myself and three other family members, all adults, stayed for two nights at Thornybank occupying both the Woodland and Balcony rooms. Vicky welcomed us into her home providing hot drinks on arrival and showed us to our rooms which were clean and spacious, even with an additional single bed in each room. The rooms were well equipped and the bathrooms, as mentioned by others, were luxurious. The Woodland room, although without a bath, had a large shower unit with very good water pressure and temperature control. This room also benefitted from a Tempur mattress which was so very comfortable we wanted to bring it home. The Balcony room offered the chance to relax and view nature including squirrels and a pheasant. The breakfast comprised of cereals, followed by a choice of medium or large locally sourced cooked English, and toast with locally produced preserves. Vicky made us feel at home, offered tips on where to eat and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Neither would I hesitate in recommending Thornybank. Thank you Vicky.

Recently had a two night break with my husband at Thornybank B&B, and we both absolutely loved it. Vicky is that rarest of B&B hosts - someone who genuinely loves to share her home and is interested in her guests. We stayed in the balcony room which is extremely spacious, very comfortable bed etc. and has a great power shower and jacuzzi bath. Sitting outside on the balcony looking at the stars was an amazing experience, best I have seen in the UK. Lovely setting in woodland garden and very quiet. Good choice for breakfast, particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit salad! Vicky is extremely knowledgeable about the local area and gives good advice re places to go, where to eat etc. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Room Tip: Two rooms, both spacious and charming.

A lovely house set in a very pretty and peaceful location, walking distance from the Cromer sea front, but away from the noise and tourism.
Marvellous hostess, who is very welcoming and cooks a wonderful English Beakfast with abundant locally produced foods.
I look forward to staying again soon.

We had a 2 night stay at Thornybank with our granddaughter. The room was spacious and the bed really comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for Vicky and she was very attentive to our granddaughter (especially when she fell and knocked out her first loose front tooth).
We would definitely recommend this B&B, which is in a quiet location and very convenient for North Norfolk.

We took 2 grandsons for a two day stay at Thornybank where we were warmly welcomed by Vicky. The family room was just what we needed for the two boys and they thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent English breakfast.
The wooded location was quiet and serene and yet only 5 minutes drive from the centre of Cromer.

Another warm and friendly welcome from Vicky the owner. We stayed in the Balcony Room which is very spacious and well appointed with a comfortable double bed, there is also a single bed which never makes the the room feel overcrowded. The well appointed en-suite bathroom is large and has a jacuzzi bath with power shower. On arrival we were offered tea and coffee which we enjoyed whilst sitting on the balcony overlooking the extensive woodland garden with sunshine streaming through the trees. A full English breakfast is cooked before you using locally sourced products from independent suppliers, you'll never find a supermarket sausage on your plate here! Breakfast is a very sociable experience with Vicky's cheerful and knowledgeable involvement about things to do and places to visit. Cromer is a short drive away and Felbrigg Hall is literally just up the road. Thornybank really is an extremely pleasant place to stay, where you will be made to feel very welcome and enjoy the comfortable facilities this excellent establishment provides. Thank you Vicky...we'll be back soon!

Room Tip: The Balcony Room offers a chance to 'sit outside' whilst still in your room...most pleasant!
