check ahead for hours and to make sure it's open. There are 2 buildings with some interesting artifacts. Yes- Morristown was the military capital of the Revolution, and there is a lot to see!

“Washington HQ”
Reviewed 6 January 2014

This is a interesting place to visit because it is a place where George Washington spent a good portion of time and it has a couple artifacts in the house that George and Martha actually used during the time at the house. Seeing those kind of artifacts is kind of neat even for the kids. I thought the ranger could have done a better job with the tour and hopefully it is better for other visitors. It is worth doing if you are in the area because it is right there with the museum.

“Interesting”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

The house tour is interesting. The ranger provided many historical facts so we could understand the background on Washington's stay at the home. Rooms were furnished and the home has an authentic look and feel to it.

“GOOD HISTORY LESSON- NICE VISIT”
Reviewed 26 August 2013

A nice stop for history buffs and to get a better understanding on this portion of the
Revolutionary war. Nice visitor's center and we had great guide for the separate building- Ford Mansion. May be a little slow for kids. The ranger can supply detail driving directions to Jockey Hollow. Make it part of your day visiting Morris museum and Jockey Hollow.

The Mansion and property is VERY pretty. Please remember to call and see what time there are tours of the Mansion. IT IS NOT OPEN to view without a guide. ALSO, pictures are not allowed to be taken in the Museum....
