Don't go in expecting too much and you won't be disappointed. I find that the French toast is a better use of those empty carbs you'll want at a place like this. The French toast + eggs + breakfast meat special is my favorite. Huge menu, and the portions are likewise, so come hungry and/or hungover.

We were in town for a wedding, so many people in our party ate at the diner, some more than once. They were very accommodating as far as keeping our group together (sometimes there were 25 of us there at once). The food was good. The kitchen was a little slow and inconsistent (people who arrived after us were eating before our food was out of the kitchen), but the service was good.

I work late at a restaurant so by the time i get home at night i sometimes don't want to make a meal or dirty the kitchen. Being that late there isn't many options open. Morristown diner has been our go to spot to pick up food. Yes it's diner food but its great for what it is and they have tons of options to choose from. Staff is pretty friendly.

After seeing the New Jersey ballet in Morristown, it was late and I hadn't eaten dinner. We didn't have a lot of time and the others in the group had already eaten. Although I had read some negative reviews of the diner on line, we decided to try it anyway. The wait staff was very pleasant and friendly and the diner was clean. The food was average. I got a veggie panini platter and they gladly accommodated the substitutions I requested. The fries were very good and the sandwich was so-so. The price was reasonable. If you are short on both time and money, this might be the place for you.

Good selection at a reasonable price. Very noisy because of late night crowd. Food was fresh, hot and generous portions. Excellent 7 layer cake for dessert. Service was great and staff was very nice. Probably wouldn't go there for a dinner time meal. But late night is great.
