We've been aficionados of Café Masala for some time, mostly because it has an interesting and different menu with what to us are proper Bangladeshi recipes. They use 'real' ingredients such as Indian bay and curry leaves and interesting ones like hatkora. You'll find excellent fish dishes and other specialities amongst the 'chef specials' and these are their best features. They do the standard 'Indian' dishes if you are not feeling adventurous but their latest venture is to do slow cooked home style Bangladesh dishes. We had tried lamb shanks last week and returned yesterday and tried slow cooked chicken on the staff's recommendation; both were great- really tasty. Ask what they recommend
