“Midweek Meal and Cocktails”
Reviewed 7 August 2013

Great place with cool decor & feel. Had one of their Tapas platters to share and it was fantastic. We also sampled their cocktails and they were very good and very strong!

Just a shame it was a bit quiet but then again it was a Tuesday early evening. Will be visiting again at a weekend to see what the atmosphere is like when busy.

“something for over the over 30's”
Reviewed 7 May 2013

I have been here a few times with friends and it is really nice.
Its nice to be able to go somewhere in Stortford that doesnt feel like you are at a youth club! It has a lovely feel about the place, very informal and comfortable, which sofas and lit with lanterns.
The tapas is very good and think reasonable priced.

“Good Night out for the over 35,s”
Reviewed 15 April 2013

With so many venues now catering for the 18-25 age group it was a pleasant change to find somewhere that caters for the over 35,s. The majority of customers were in this age bracket, all in smart casual dress and enjoying being able to talk to each other without shouting. I felt very comfortable here. Although I did not eat the food being served look very appetising and presented well.I will be going back

“Poor and extremely slow service”
Reviewed 29 March 2013

Had a table booked, waitress took order but waited over an hour just to get drinks. Food not bad though when it eventually arrived. At the end of the night, complained to the manager about the poor service but he was extremely rude and effectively accused us of lying....I'll give it a miss and could not recommend it for a night out

“Bit loud but nice meal”
Reviewed 25 March 2013

Dined here Saturday night on a party of 6 . First impression was it was extremely loud as we are all 50 plus but we do get used to it after a while. The service was very good , the beer was nice and cold and the food was very good. Not a la carte by any means but nor was the price. We all chose a main rather than a starter which is served on a large wooden block per person . Nice interesting and quite different section. A mini but tasty burger in a bun , mini lamb kofta again in a bun, nice pork ribs of the bone ,spicy strips of beef, nice chicken strips, chunk yes, huge chunky strips of chips, all very tasty and a nice compete filling main course. Others choice a variation with prawns and there isa good looking wedge option as well. Like I said earlier it's not top draw but it is a very enjoyable selection. The atmosphere was very good as it is a busy bar restaurant . Well worth a visit and no dearer than anywhere else. The main course are about £22 but you really do not need a starter and the wine is also quite reasonable
