Booked direct with the hotel by phone, and also reserved a table for dinner on the evening.
On arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff, shown to our room Spice Route, and asked if we wanted to book a table for dinner, I explained I had done this when I telphoned to book the room but she said there was no reservation made but she would reserve one for us, we would have been disappointed if we had been unable to get a table.
The room was nice with a theme, just some little niggles like a chipped toilet seat, a towel from the prevoius occupant, and hairs on the tiles. The bed was lovely, very comfortable however one side is pushed up against the wall so it is difficult for one of you to get out ! There is quite a lot of noise in this room from the bar below, but this is not too much of a problem as it stops after last orders.
The evening meal was lovely and service very good, nice ambience in the bar.
Breakfast was also good, nice quality food, cooked beautifully.
The Inn is in a perfect setting in a beautiful village.
Overall we had a great stay and would return.More
