Stayed 3 nights at Lyncombe Lodge. very enjoyable short break. We had our dog with us and he was made very welcome. Room14, a chalet room because of the dog was excellent - best of the chalet rooms because it has a bow window and is just a few steps from the restaurant. Room small but comfortable & well-equipped - except that like so many hotels there was just one chair in a double room. however our room had a chair outside on the little deck so that was not a problem. Staff are all very friendly and very efficient, food is good.Hotel is only a few minutes from A38 but being in a wood it seems so private and so quiet.
Ski slope next door (or rather below) is very interesting.

Room Tip: Chalet room 14 is great because of the bow window. Some revues have commented on noise but we did no...

My niece's wedding on Good Friday was a huge success. The staff were brilliant, the food exceptional, and the surroundings beautiful. As has been said before, for a small wedding this venue is spot-on - the sunshine just made it better! Full marks to Ann for her arranging and co-ordinating - she was excellent.

A two night stay at Lyncombe Lodge was not enough to enjoy this wonderful hotel and surrounding area and facilities. From the moment we arrived everyone at the hotel was friendly, knowledgable and very helpful - especially Ann (thank you). The kids were made very welcome, and had lots to explore for themselves because of the Mendip Activity Centre that they could get to on foot. Nearby beachs and villages and sites ment we were spoilt for choice on what to do, and proved difficult to short list what to squeeze into our short stay.
Will be planning another trip - thanks alot guys. Beena Milton Keynes

My wife and I made our first visit here for an evening meal and annual awards presentation with our local motor club. Although further from our side of Bristol than we would have liked, it was well worth the trip. The three course meal was really good, well presented and very tasty. And all the staff were very efficient and friendly. We will visit again before too long!

We booked the mothers day pamper, we received a very warm welcome when we arrived, very friendly staff and the location was perfect. We had head massage, hot stone massage, back massage - they were all fantastic, Clair has magic hands. We then had a lovely glass of Prosessco, before a fantastic afternoon tea, cucumber and salmon sandwiches with the crusts cut off!

The location is beautiful, it over looks Churchill and Langford, the sun was shining so we had a glorious view of the countryside, we felt very spolit. We will be back and thank you for a lovely afternoon x

Had a lovely stay over the weekend, received very warm welcome from Josie on checking in and she also dealt with us on check out. Room was clean, lovely crisp white bedding, cleanest bathroom sink I think we've ever seen in a hotel! We had a drink in the bar in the afternoon which was very relaxed (Nick recommended a whisky to my partner which he thoroughly enjoyed) and ate in the restaurant in the evening. The food quality was wonderful, as was the service we received (from Anne I believe). Breakfast was very enjoyable the following morning with the sun shining and a lovely view of the trees. Will definately make a return visit.

We had a day playing at the ski centre and stayed here overnight, the food was amazing, the chalet we were upgraded too was clean and comfortable if a little small but we weren't in it long enough to worry, the bathroom could do with an update but the shower was wonderfully hot so can't complain. The hotel arranged for a masseuse the next morning who was excellent!!
Value for money was brilliant, can't rave enough about the food and the place generally was very nice indeed. We're definitely going again!
