Nisqually lodge was a quiet, restful stop for the 4 of us visiting Mt Rainier National Park over Labor Day weekend. The couple managing the lodge are brand new (as of mid August) and greeted everyone with a big smile. Problems referred to in previous posts appear to be fixed. The room rate includes a continental breakfast (with waffle irons!) .
The decor is not extravagant but you should find the lodge organized, neat, clean and quiet. There are several restaurants or bars in the area where lunch or dinner can be found. Nisqually Lodge is a short drive from the Ashford entrance to the park and the last chance for groceries and gasoline for some little ways. The cell service is spotty at best but the lodge does have free password protected wi-fi.More
