Anne McKavanagh is the ideal hostess, the Lodge is easy to find and nestled in quaint countryside where cows and rabbits can be seen from the windows. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of cereals, fruit, juices and hot dishes including a traditional Irish breakfast. One of the best B&Bs we have stayed at, very clean, quiet and cosy, I highly recommend this accommodation and would return in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: The rear rooms have a lovely country view, the breakfast atrium has nice views of the garden.

This guesthouse puts many 4 star hotels to shame. There is no improvements necessary. Well laid out rooms with huge space in the room and the ensuite with both bath and double shower.

It's a real treat to stay here. The finer detail is attended to. While Anne is clearly a great business women, she still has all the qualities that give the Irish B&B lady the world renowned reputation for being welcoming, warm and friendly.

It's clear that Anne the proprietor of Caldhame Lodge understands the true meaning of hospitality. This is an exceptionally well run high quality guesthouse with all modern comforts and some really nice personal touches. It is spotlessly clean, warmly decorated, offers delicious freshly cooked breakfast and a host of extremely comfortable amenities - all of which ensures excellent value for money. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry (hotels) for over 20 years, I can say with sincerity that this guesthouse easily rates as one of the best in the Country and is highly recommended. Thanks Anne & continued success with your delightful guesthouse.

This is my first time to go to a bed and breakfast outside the USA and boy was I pleasantly surprised. First of all, when we arrived, I advised the owner to update her website, since her pictures do not do justice to what the place actually looks like. Traditional Irish hospitality at its best. Despite the cold weather outside, the warm welcome of our hosts was more than enough to get us comfortably tucked in for the night. We only stayed overnight as we were moving around from place to place and I can tell you - Trip advisor has always been accurate to a tee. I will definitely look this place up again on our next visit to Northern Ireland. By the way, the only concern I have is the location of this B & B is a little hard to find at night. I also advised the owner, who was so gracious to accept the comment, that she had to make her place more visible. BTW, don't worry about WIFI, they have it and its for FREE
