Stumbled across this little dream purely by accident and now cannot get enough. Recommend to everyone and every person I recommend to absolutely loves it and we are now all considered regulars.

The food is absolutely beautiful, the service is brilliant. The two "boss men" are very friendly and never forget you. Price is astounding for the quality and quantity of both the food and the service. I have never been for the lunch time special purely as times hasn't allowed. Regular here and doubt very much this will change. My fiancé is the fussiest eater you will ever come across....he clears his plate (and mine if he is lucky enough that I'm full) every time. Keep up the good work guys and will see you again at the end of June (excited already). Thanks Again. Kirsty & Gerry x

Can't understand why ignorant people make a song and dance over a £3.50 meal! Try visiting M&S for a sandwich and a juice, you'll be struggling to get it under a fiver!!!
Food was excellent value and staff were pleasant & courteous, I'll be back

Had't been here for years despite staying about 200 yards away, we even used to go here on Christmas Day. The interior is very nice, bright with a lot of natural light giving it a good feel. On arrival we were asked to wait in the bar and were shown to our seat after 10 mins, the menu was very good considering it's only £3.50 per head, onion rings and chicken pakora (50p extra) to start, 2 South Indian garlic chilli chicken, plus a rice and nan for mains, caramel shortcake and chocolate cake for desert (75p extra each). We had a pint of lager and a diet Irn Bru, then the bill arrived! I think it was one of the owners who said the bill was wrong and asked us how many drinks we had? He said they hadn't added the drink to the bill and took it away again, £15.05 without drinks added? It doesn't take a mathematician to tally up £3.50,£3.50,50p and £1.50 does it? He came back and the bill was now nearly £19? As the bill was just a lot of squiggly lines next to prices I asked him to explain it, he then started scoring things out saying this and that wasn't right but still seemed to have bother tallying up a relatively easy bill, then when he knew it wasn't right he did what most bosses do.....he blamed someone else! Really enjoyed our meal but the "performance" over the bill means we won't be back. Shame really.

Its sad when you claim to know the owners well enough but resort to TA to show your grievance. You visited us nearly 18 months after we reopened despite staying 200 yards away.
You arrived on a busy saturday afternoon you were asked to wait in the bar area while we got you a table you were offered a drink its our normal practice to ask for payment for drinks ordered in the bar area But since you were recognised by one of the owners they instructed the bar staff to add it to your allocated table once you got seated. You ordered 2 lunches @£3.50 supplement 50p for Chicken Pakora £1.50 for the 2 cakes thats £9 in total it was only once the owner went to process your card payment that he released that £3.25 for a pint of Lal too fan and £1.60 for a diet irn-bru wasn't on your bill so changed your bill to £13.85 this was explained to you at the time to which you were satisfied with so i can't understand where you got the bases to this negative review from
I sincearly hope you visit as in the near future .
