Holy Terror Mini Golf
Ranked #2 of 3 Fun & Games in Keystone
More attraction details
Attraction details
Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: You'll be screamin' Mulligans at Keystone's only 18-hole mini-golf. The Holy Terror Mini Golf course is nestled on the side of a pine-covered slope in Keystone. Named after the last active gold mine in Keystone, the course will have you “screamin’ mulligans” as you putt around gold-flecked boulders, up steep hills, down thru the mine slew, and around the water wheel and bubbling stream. A mini golf experience the whole family will never forget! Challenging, yet fun! The 18-holes meander more than 50 feet up a steep hillside, and then down again, unified by a gold mining motif and rushing water that flows from a watertank, thru sluices, over a waterwheel and into a millpond. They even have three kinds of artificial turf that simulate fairways, sand traps and rough.

“Go somewhere else.”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

We went here one morning only to find it closed during the posted hours that it was supposed to be open. There were golfers on the course, but no attendants. We waited for about 1/2 hour and left. If there was an emergency there could have been a notice somewhere, but there wasn't.

“We had a nice here”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

We stopped in here with our 8 and 11 yr olds. It was fun and the kid at the counter was nice. It was pretty much like put-put golf anywhere else you go. Not terribly challenging but no one in our family is that great at it anyway!

“Attendant was irritable”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

We had free passes to go to the Holy Terror mini golf and nine of us went. The attendant was not very friendly. He clearly had no patience for children. He passed out the clubs to each of us and when I asked for a bigger club for my son, he refused and gave us a "lesson" on how to properly putt. Then, even though my 16 year old daughter and I are the same height, he gave her a smaller club. We asked for the bigger club for her and then we were again instructed on how the club is supposed to be short. I am all for being given advice on something I may not be familiar with but this is mini golf and if the customer feels more comfortable with a taller club, I think he should just be given a taller club. He was very rude about the club issue, he was rude when he told us how to putt the ball. Even when we started to play, he said, "Now don't take all night, move it along!"

The course itself was a bit challenging because it runs up along side a mountain and we got to see a deer by the woods while we played so that was fun too. I wouldn't go back and pay money for this attraction.

“Fun”
Reviewed 23 June 2013

This is quite an original mini golf course or it was to us anyway. You actually golf up the hill and down again for several different holes. The gal who ran this was getting ready to close but said she would be more than willing to let us golf a game. Wonderful, friendly place. Would recommend to anyone.

“Boring”
Reviewed 22 June 2013

There were no obstacle to go around, not very challenging. There were tree branches and leaves all over the the area that hinder the ball. I would not waste my $9.50 for it!
