“bad food, uncaring service”
Reviewed 15 April 2013

Went for brunch, ordered two sunny side up eggs, the florentine benedict, french toast, mickey mouse pancakes, oj and coffee.
The benedict: come with burnt potatoe. The llandaise sauce tastes as if it were from a can. The egg itself tastes like vinegar. The muffin either was days old or crappy quality.
Sunny side up eggs: there must be a shortage of lard in the state after these eggs were fried. The eggs were so badly cooked that the whites were like plastic.
Pancakes: comes with "maple syrup". No idea what that sweet-artificially-flavored syrup was.
Toast: It's fried bread. Disgusting.
It was my kid'd b-day. The brought a small cup filled with whipped cream and a candle. Really? Whipped cream? To a kid? Anyone who thinks that's OK, go there.
Never returning.

“Good Breakfast”
Reviewed 28 March 2013

Talk about a California Cuisine place... The menu kept us undecided for quite a while! We wanted to try everything! You can have something sweet, savory, eggy, or meat filled... Prepared in creative and delicious ways. We waited about an hour for our table, on a late Saturday morning, and it was worth it. I'd go earlier next time or on a weekday maybe? It is small with not that many tables. The food arrived fast, but the server seemed preoccupied and a little aloof. Maybe it was because we had to ask her to come back for our order because we weren't quite ready. We've found this unfriendly attitude in a few different places in Marin though. We have eaten at Toast off Hwy 101 outside of Novato and the service was great and o wait!

Ate an adequate if uninspiring breakfast here. Nothing wrong with it but the service was a little unfriendly......

“Awesome Place!”
Reviewed 7 February 2013

The food here is great and they are fast. I especially love the pancakes....oh divine!

We've done to go and eat in and enjoyed the restaurant very much. Just a heads up though, the place is small which gives it a very homey feel, but it also means that you could wait awhile.

“A chi-chi diner? Yup and so much more”
Reviewed 27 January 2013

So, online it seems like a pretty pretentious place, upscale, but in person, it's a lovely little diner in the heart of Mill Valley. You CAN order breakfast all day but you can also (as we did) get fried calamari, California seabass with mashed potatoes, and parmesan crusted petrale sole with green beans and artichoke sauce which were perfectly cooked. Parking is a pain in the tuckus but it's totally worth it to enjoy the HUGE and delish servings.
