The Rising Sun is a very nice, quiet, quaint B&B. Clean. Comfortable bed. Snacks and drinks in room. Located in a very nice residential area at the edge of downtown . . . within easy walking distance. Owner was very friendly and accommodating.

The hospitality provided was overflowing. Our room was stocked with everything one could ask for from fresh linens to snacks and hot & drinks etc. The bathroom has an actual jacuzzi tub is very large and seems to have been remodeled. The bed is super comfortable.

Great spot to land after biking the Natchez Trace. Walking distance to everything in downtown Natchez. With only two rooms and flexible breakfast, Rising Sun feels private, which is just what we were seeking. The house is well appointed with many amazing art pieces, several porches and the room was stocked with many snack selections. Would stay here again. Thanks for a great weekend!

We use Natchez as an overnight stop when traveling to New Orleans. In the past we have stayed at the Natchez Grand, which has been perfectly adequate. This time we wanted less of the hotel experience, so we tried the Rising Sun. We are very happy with our decision.

The Regal Suite was quite large and well appointed. There is a refrigerator, flat screen TV, and snacks. There is quite a bit of common area (living room, outside porches, etc.), also. Keep in mind that there are only 2 rented rooms, so there is plenty of space. The breakfast is a coupon at either the Eola Hotel or Dunleith, we chose the former and it was fine. I prefer the ability to eat at our chosen time as opposed to the group breakfast at other B&B's.

The location is perfect. The house is surrounded by other beautiful old houses and the tree-lined street is perfect for a stroll. We really liked relaxing on the 2nd story porch.

The staff had a perfect balance of making sure we were comfortable without being intrusive. Very friendly.

Highly recommended. Zero surprises or problems.

Room Tip: If you want a big bedroom, chose the Regal Suite. If you want a big bathroom, chose the Ivory Room.

This was the perfect spot from which to experience everything downtown Natchez has to offer, and yet it was lovely enough in and of itself that sometimes I just wanted to stay in (or on a beautiful porch or patio). My room was gorgeous for one, but also perfect for a couple. What a pleasure!

Awesome! There were so many extra touches and thoughtful items in the room that I cannot name them all! They were very nice and accommodating as well. I would stay again. There were two or three porches to go out and sit.

Room Tip: No tips.... all great! I did not see a fitness center, but we got our workout be doing the walking t...

We had an enjoyable weekend stay at the Rising Sun B&B. We were conveniently located in the historic downtown and were able to walk to several places. The gift bag upon arrival, the large room, snacks, and breakfast at the Eola Hotel and Dunleith were all wonderful. If you are looking for a very relaxing stay this would be a great choice! We will most definitely be back!
