“Searching”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

We were looking for the rocking chair monument, but we couldn't find it, and we had no way of knowing where it was. Beautiful, historic cemetery.

“Magnificent place to visit”
Reviewed 19 February 2012

This is one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the u.s.a.
Below is a quote from the cemetery website.
"Numerous beautiful, creatively designed iron fences, benches, iron mausoleum doors, tombstones and monuments are found within the cemetery. The varied patterns of ironwork represent almost the entire spectrum of ironwork produced in America in the 19th and early 20th Centuries. Artistically sculptured markers with often-poignant inscriptions add to the unique character of the burial ground."

“This was a very interesting cemetery”
Reviewed 5 January 2012

We spent the afternoon driving around these tiny narrow roads, stopping to look at interesting stones. There was VERY limited parking, no pullover space, but of course, this cemetery was probably not designed as a tourist attraction. Lots of joggers. I suspect the Haunted Cemetery Tour would be great here.
