The time at Stone House was a highlight of our trip. It was so peaceful and a real feeling of living in luxury in the past. Joe Stone goes out of his way to make you feel like "family", yet there is all the privacy in the world too. Thanks, Joe.

It was wonderful to see you return to Stone House with more of your friends. I'm really appreciative of the review you posted, and so thankful that you and your friends enjoyed your stay here. It's always a pleasure for me to play the concert for you and anyone that you bring along. I'll be looking forward to your next Natchez trip, so bring more of your travel companions and we'll do it again!

We can't recommend Stone House enough! It's stepping back in time in the best way possible - into a home that's received such care and attention from its owner and B&B proprietor, Joe.

From a warm welcome, to fantastic accommodations, plus a classical piano concert and lovely conversations learning the history of both the house and the local area - it was brilliant.

The next morning - the best breakfast we had of the whole trip! Joe's shrimp grits are the best.

A+. Thanks Joe!

The pleasure was all mine, and it's very refreshing to have guests who have traveled from as far away as you did, there is so much experience to share. Having you hear my piano program was also an enriching experience for me, since it is my way of communicating without words. Thanks for all the compliments, and have a great summer!

First of all, the Old Stone House is made of bricks. "Stone" is the name of the family that has owned the house for many generations, down to the current proprietor Joseph Stone. Joe collects and displays pianos and antique maps (in which he also deals), offers large, comfortable rooms, beautiful furnishings in both the rooms and common areas, elegant breakfasts (at which he will join you to chat, if the head count is not too large). He is also an accomplished musician who offers his guests a complimentary evening of wine and classical piano, expertly executed. My wife and I stayed at Stone House for two nights and had a perfectly splendid time, enjoying both the house and the company of its owner. Joe also provided excellent tips on touring and dining in the Natchez area. We're already thinking about another trip to Natchez, both the catch the sights we didn't have time for this time, and to enjoy another stay at the Old Stone House.

what a pleasant surprise in this day and time to find such a delightful host. Joe makes your Natchez sojourn both restful and entertaining. From the information about what to see and where to eat to the history of his family and the town,he makes your visit a personal affair. Don"t miss it!

This bed and breakfast is by far the best one I have been to. Joe Stone is an awesome person and does anything to please his guests. My Grandmother and I were extremely pleased with our room: extravagent, elegant, and spacious. Joe cooks an AMAZING breakfast each morning, specifically at your choice of time. He also gives tons of information upon arrival and suggest different places to go. Lastly, he is an awesome musician and gives a concert during your stay. I have nothing but positive things to say. It really gives the definition of southern hospitality and charm. I will definitely be back for the Fall Pilgramage and plan to stay at Joes bed and breakfast again!!
