“Awesome place - 2nd visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2014

This was my second return to the historic Oak Hill Inn and once again had a wonderful experience….not to mention mint juleps to die for! Doug and Don are awesome hosts and they open up their beautiful home making you feel completely at home. Doug gives a wonderful tour of the house and its many historic values. You will be amazed. Breakfast equals a 5 star, 5 diamond experience and promises not to disappoint. All these fabulous attributes not to mention the convenience to Natchez and its history, will find you wishing you could have stayed longer.

I always run to trip advisor when I start planning a get-away so when my honey and I wanted to go to Natchez, Ms. for a valentine weekend this was the site I was on, Oak Hill was the recommended place, and trip advisor did not disappoint. The only complaint I would have was that I only had one night to stay :(. I cannot add much that has not already been said. From the homemade cookies to Don's amazing knowledge of Natchez, I was totally impressed. The home and antiques in the home are breath taking. We were the only occupants of that night and felt totally spoiled the next morning at breakfast. Do not hesitate to book Oak Hill Inn! This will always be our place of stay when we visit Natchez. Thank you Doug and Don for making our first visit to Natchez a wonderful one!

When you just want to get away, why not go back in time? The ambience of a time gone by is perfectly replicated by the hosts of this historic property.
After a career of travel for business ,staying in 4 star hotels, having here beautiful surroundings PLUS home cooking was literally icing on the cake...and, I'm a sucker for a tranquil garden. Being awarded US # 1 says it all for me...ManBijtHond

Words cannot begin to describe the wonderful time we had taking our adult granddaughter to visit Natchez and New Orleans. We stayed two nights at the Historic Oak Hill Inn in Natchez which to be honest was the best part of the trip. Don and Doug were the best hosts and made us feel so welcome. The breakfasts were outstanding; each different and delicious. The Inn sits high on a bluff in a beautiful, quiet part of Natchez. The Inn is beautifully furnished with family antiques and beautiful treasures. Do not turn down the tour from Doug, it was the highlight of our trip. We highly recommend The Historic Oak Hill Inn to all our friends and will defiantly return to stay another weekend!

Room Tip: We had the entire upstairs allowing privacy for grandparents and granddaughter. Next time we will r...

There aren't any superlatives I could add, that haven't already been used in Oak Hill Inn's many glowing reviews. Suffice to say, they are all true. The place is gorgeous and in the best location in Natchez. Don and Doug are gracious and accommodating without being intrusive. Breakfast is incredible. Be sure to ask Doug for his tour of the house, where you learn not only about the structure but about the many incredible antiques in the house, some of which are part of his own family's fascinating history. I've been to Natchez many times and am now wondering how I didn't discover Oak Hill before. It will now be my go-to place when in this part of Mississippi.

Room Tip: If you are planning to take up two rooms, check out their special which allows you book the entire u...

Beautiful antebellum home with gracious hosts. Excellent location within walking district of the river, restaurants, and historic sites. We enjoyed the afternoon cocktail and house tour upon arrival. Best breakfast we have ever had at a b&b in an exquisite formal dining room. Wonderful experience chatting with our hosts in that sumptuous setting.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at this lovely bed and breakfast. We had a fabulous time. We were welcomed with yummy homemade cookies, and delicious mint juleps. The breakfast was simply amazing. Every detail was thought of! Doug and Don were such gracious host, and were so well informed to activities and restaurants in the area. Historic Oak Hill is such a lovely home. It has been beautifully restored and impeccably maintained. We are already planning our next visit to Natchez, and will most definitely stay at Oak Hill! Thanks again for your generous hospitality.
