Our stay was very nice and we will stay here again. We paid extra to get a river view room, which my wife really enjoyed. There were cookies at the desk upon check-in. The free breakfast was outstanding with many hot and cold choices. I made reservations online, but upon check-in they did provide a AAA discount. Room was huge and clean.

Grand describes the size of this hotel, but it also has a lot of other positive features. The location on the bluffs, with a full view of the river, is excellent, as were the public rooms, the breakfast and the friendliness. We had no complaints at all, and would definitely stay again if we were ever passing through Natchez.

This hotel is far from being "grand" in any sense of the word. While it has an excellent location across from the river, the overall experience is very disappointing. Lobby area and rooms in need of refurbishing. Pool too filthy to use. Equipment in the work-out room broken or missing pieces. Faucet in tub is pulling away from the wall. Front desk personnel frequently aware and seem put out when requests are asked of them. Housekeepers noisy and loud --- laughing and shouting at each other from one end of the hall to the other, and completely block the hallways with equipment so that it is difficult for guest to walk to their rooms. While buffet style breakfast is served, there is no lunch or dinner service.

A lovely setting in a very friendly old southern town within easy walk to the centre. The rooms were very comfy and it was a very reasonable price. The town itself was warm and friendly.Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is in a lovely position and is an impressive building. The beds were comfortable and the room facilities were good, plenty of hangers, ironing equipment, quality toiletries and pleasant furnishings.
Sadly the breakfast was a let down, no fresh fruit apart from a bowl of apples, no choice of pastries and very little variety of lot food. The room was very crowded and tables were not being cleared, we were forced to share and move chairs to seat ourselves.
Shame.

Room Tip: Make sure you are facing the river!!!!
