The hotel is quite obviously an older establishment with several areas that need renovating. Don't get the wrong idea - it's still a decent place to stay. However, I will cite the reasons why I won't stay with this hotel in the future.
The hotel is in a beautiful area of Natchez-overlooking the Mississippi River on the west side of the building.
Rooms are "decent" and largely clean. Televisions are poor quality (if that's a concern for you) and bathrooms are lacking. Again, they are fairly clean, but could use some serious deep cleaning.
Breakfast has a variety of quality offerings, but in relation to the added fee to your hotel bill for the breakfast, it would seem that it might could be better.
Staff are not congenial and appear largely unattentive and somewhat unresponsive to the guests needs. Friendly staff will always bring me back and unfortunately, they have lost my vote for first choice of lodging on my next trip.
Lodging costs for this property is in my opinion, too high. Based on my assessment of the property and its amenities, one could easily find better lodging in the area for a lesser rate.
Unfortunately, I think I will choose another hotel on my other visits.More
