I grew up in Liverpool and used to take a "short cut" through this graveyard on my way home from school. Back then the old fountain/pool was a dried up cement hole with a busted old fountain. Though the grass was always clipped nothing else had been done to attract attention (except for the teens that would drink here and push over the historic grave stones).
Now.....the fountain has been fixed and the "pool" is full of water. There are informative markers about some of the older stones. Very helpful as they are hard to read because of wear. It would be great to see some more of the stones righted and repaired. A beautiful place to wander through. AND IT'S FREE!
There is another nice old cemetary on Payzant St if you are looking for more old stones.
