A great local burger with views and turtles swimming below the railing. Fantastic local desert concoctions that will appeal to any sweet tooth.

We visit this restaurant every year. The service is good but the food is REALLY GOOD! The restaurant could really use a face lift. The food is so good though. Yummmm!!

I loved mala its great that they have many choices that are gluten free. Be sure to ask for that menu if you are interested. Thefish was great and there is a small but well chosen wine list. This is a restaurant in the Wailea Marriot. The view is incredible. Go at sunset. if there are not to busy rumor has it they will let you order off the Migrant menu as well.

We ate here four nights ago on our honeymoon. We were staying in an oceanfront room at the marriott so it was convenient to come here. We had a very blah meal though. We were one of FIVE tables there - it was deserted! That should have been a tip off! It was 6:45 too - prime dining time in maui! Our server was super slow and kind of depressing; she told us how much she hates living in maui and wants to pursue a different career. It's the first night of our honeymoon - please let us enjoy the idea of maui!

My husband had a pricey steak; he said it was very tough and dry. I had shrimp something - I truly can't even remember - but it was boring and I was not impressed. We had an appetizer... Again, very blah! We shared the s'mores dessert and it was ok. Husband tried a local beer. We both left feeling like we should have gone elsewhere. It was such an "ok" meal and so forgettable. Oh, except the $140 bill. Haha.

The view is awesome but staying in an ocean front room we had a much better view from our room. It was kind of depressing with our waitress and the food was just so blah. Would not return even though it was convenient.

We have been traveling to Maui for over a dozen years and always dine at Mala multiple times during our stays. The seafood is fresh and creatively prepared, in fact the entire menu, including the weekend brunches hit a high mark With a friendly staff and the singing sea turtles, Mala is hard to beat
