“Great morning out.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 March 2013 via mobile

I booked this based on a T.A. Review. We were not disappointed. Just the 2 of us and our paddlers. We saw Sea Turtles. Snorkelled and relaxed. Great way to spend 2 hours in Wailea.

“Awesome Every Time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 December 2012

Perfect for adventurers and non-adventurers to do together...

I have lived on Maui for several years and this is the Tour that I take EVERY guest that visits me on! We sail, snorkel... have seen countless whales and turtles... and it is quiet. Just the wind and the ocean... No motors or diesel fuel. The tours are small and intimate only (less than 10) and Sage has an amazing amount of knowledge about the Hawaiian Culture that he will share with you as well...

It was particularly great when I had the "Whole Family" here... Young and Old... The older folks did some power lounging on the trampoline of the Canoe while the kids jumped in and snorkeled swam with turtles and Sage even showed them an Octopus! I highly recommend this if you have Grandma and Grandpa as well as kids around and all want to do something cool together. Even they said this tour was the highlight of their Maui Trip! PS... they do all the paddling if needed or you Sail... How cool is that?

Great Guides, great company... Awesome Trip... Every time.

“Very Fun Experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 December 2012

We really enjoyed our sailing canoe and snorkeling trip around Wailea. It was neat to learn more about the Hawaiian sailing canoes and how they were used. Sage was a great guide and took pictures throughout the trip, which was nice because we didn't have a waterproof camera that we could take with us. Highly recommend booking a trip with Sage when in Maui!

“Great time on the ocean!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 December 2012

We had a nice time sailing around the Wailea area of Maui. It was fun to get out on the open ocean and see how ancient Hawaiians sailed around the islands. The sea was choppy the day we went and the snorkeling was a little cloudy, but we had a great time anyway.

“Calm & Relaxing - Don't Miss it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 September 2012

Just completed a trip with Maui Sailing Canoe. This is our second time to sail with them, the last about 3 years ago. Each time has been a wonderful experience. You have the opportunity to snorkel or just sit back and relax as the sailing canoe takes your small group on a trip. Well worth the price. Depending on the time of year you might even see whales, dolphins, or a monk seal which we say basking in the sun.

This is an eco friendly tour that only takes up to 6 people at a time. No motor noise or the smell of exhaust, just clear sailing. Great.
