Me and my husband stayed in Four Seasons in September during our trip to Maui. After two weeks road trip in the west of US we wanted just to enjoy the beach and the ocean. Hotel was trying to exceed our expectations. Staff was very friendly, always smiling and helpful.
They have many complimentary things at the hotel. Like group classes for sports - Yoga, HIIT, Pilates. I loved ocean view yoga. It used to take place outside facing the ocean every morning. At the beach which is public as I understand they provide sun beds and they bring water. Snorkels are complimentary 1 hour a day as well.
The location is amazing! just in front of the Wailea beach. Sea turtles used to come there every morning.
Another thing that we appreciated is the room upgrade. Apparently, September is not the busiest month and it is considered as low season. We booked mountain facing room and we were upgraded to garden and ocean view room! I enjoyed the view every morning while taking the coffee. Nespresso machines provided in the room! It was such a retreat after all the tasteless coffee we had during two weeks in US!
Staff cleans the room and later during the day comes to see if we don't need any fresh towels or anything else.
It is a very pricey resort, but you get what you pay for. Rooms are huge!More
