My son and I were in Mindo for about five days in July 2014, and we had dinner at El Tigrillo a couple of times. Inside and out this is a pretty modest-looking restaurant, but once you are seated and the food starts arriving you will not be disappointed by the friendly service and quality of the food. You have to try the pizza, because it was the best that we had in Ecuador and we were there for 30 days. It's pretty straight-forward traditional pizza, but the brick oven produces a perfectly cooked crust with a perfect amount of fresh and tasty toppings. The excellent green salad comes with fresh avocado and is enough for two people. Great food and great value, so don't miss it.
