“A Relaxing Vacation that is close to Nature”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2010

Thank you Tony and Pam for making our stay here both enjoyable and memorable. Coming from a busy city like Singapore, a vacation on the mountain and being so close to nature is a real treat! Tony and Pam, have been our brilliant hosts throughout the stay. The services they provided were wonderful. The rooms were also very clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view and the nature that surrounds us. If we ever go back Tamborine Mountain again we will definitely choose to stay here. We will also recommend this beautiful place to our friends.

We stayed with Pam and Tony again over the New Year break (this is our 5th New Years on the mountain!). I would say that it is probably our 10th stay with them and it is always such a relaxing and wonderful experience. We have stayed at many other locations on the mountain and we just cant go past Tamborine Mountain B & B! We sleep like babies and eat like kings and are taken care of like royalty.
The hosts, Pam & Tony, are one of the nicest people you will ever meet and love to have a chat and share a vino or two with you on the balcony (which overlooks the entire Gold Coast!) or on chillier nights, in front of the open fire in the cosy lounge room.
There are so many things to do on the mountain and this B&B is perfectly located for everything.
We could go on and on for pages but to summarise how we feel.. "It is our home away from home!".

The service that we experienced at The Tamborine Mountain B&B was excellent. Our host and hostess made us feel right at home, provided us with excellent breakfasts and very worthwhile guidance in respect of places of interest to visit. The accommodation was very good, the surrounds were pleasant and the scenery from the front verandah was quite outstanding. The location at Eagle Heights made sightseeing at O'Reilly's, Binna Burra, Springbrook, Beechmont and Natural Bridge very easy and, as a consequence, we were able to enjoy the scenic delights of all of these places and more. Our host and hostess were very friendly, and this provided the basis for everything else that we did. We had a wonderful week at this location and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who is looking for a friendly, interesting and scenically diverse place to visit or to spend a holiday.

Pam and Tony are truly fantastic hosts - their terrific hospitality and attention to detail is unparalleled. They serve up one of the best breakfasts around and also put a lot of love into the presentation of their rooms. As an added bonus, their homely B&B comes with a breathtaking view from the mountain to the sea.

We've just had our second stay and we'll be back again to recharge the batteries in this unique mountain respite!

Kind of superluxourious cabins set around a tropical garden. Breakfast with stunning views of the Gold Coast. The owner knows more or less every corner of the region. Really great.

My sister and I stayed for only one night, but wished it was longer.
The hospitality was excellent with the owners going out of their way to be helpful and welcoming.
The ensuited rooms were well appointed (including a selection of videos and magazines) and the beds were comfortable.
The view from the main house, where the guests' sitting room is and also where we had breakfast , was sensational -virtually the whole of the coastline of the south coast.
For dinner, we walked to a small Italian restaurant,Tastes of Tuscany. Once again you couldn't fault the friendly service. Good wholesome family meals, geniune hospitality.
We had a delicious breakfast with all the other guests. Selections ranging from cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices, hot fruit crumble, rhubarb, fruit salad, toast & raisin toast, interesting jams, as well as the usual selection of honey, peanut butter & vegemite. Not to mention the hot cooked breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash brown, and mushrooms and plunger coffee or tea.

This weekend me and my father stayed at the Tamborine Mountain B&B in Eagle Heights, QLD Australia. It is in the 2004 addition of Fodor's Australia. We had a fabulous time the owners are wonderful people who go above and beyond the call of duty. We have special dietary needs and they met them without us having to ask. The atmosphere is very warm and the decor is swiss family robinson meets retro outside on the inside there is beautiful wood finishes. The main house is very warm and inviting and has the most amazing views of the gold coast. You can truly see the whole coast when there are no clouds. I highly recommend it. It is also very close to all the attractions on tamborine mountain.
