We had a great time on the Buller River together with Bruce and Marty who clearly knew what they were doing. Me and 3 friends were in the raft with Bruce, who has been rafting for over 20 years. Safety standards were very high and Bruce did a fantastic job of instructing us on how to steer the raft safely through the rapids. After the rapids, we did a bit of cliff jumping and the rafting ended with cakes and tea and coffee. Overall, a great experience and fantastic value-for-money. Highly recommended!

As a whitewater rafting enthusiasts I must say this trip was great! Sure the rapids were fun; a mild 3+ in low water condition, but the guides Marty and Bruce were amazing. My friend and I had a little trouble getting to the meeting point and Bruce waited for us and got us all suited up in no time. Additionally, on the actual trip down you have the opportunity to do some cliff jumps into the water, do backflips off the bow of the raft, and float down some rapids. Bruce really made the trip a whole package! At the end, there was hot chocolate, tea, and coffee along with some tasty biscuits and cake. Not a bad way to end a great trip down the Buller! Definitely recommend! This was a great price, even for 2 college students traveling on a tight budget!

We had a great trip with Marty and Bruce. It was early season and they were able to offer a trip for just the two of us which wasn't possible with the other company's.
The river was in flood so we had an epic ride over the rapids. It did mean that the cliff jump wasn't as high as it normally is. A small price to pay for the bigger rapids.
We were taught about how to assess the river and plan a route through the rapids and how the spring melt was affecting the river.
A great trip. They manage to be professional with good kit without being commercial. Highly recommended.

In a week where the weather had hampered a number of our adventures, we were so looking forward to white water rafting with Marty and Bruce, we were not disappointed! We were collected and transported to the river, kitted out with all the necessary equipment and safety briefing, and then headed for the rapids. It was perfect for our adventure, while it was "white knuckle" enough to get the adrenaline running, it wasn't that extreme to not be able to enjoy the moment. Jumping off the rocks and swimming down one of the rapids certainly was memorable as was the moment when your breath was taken away from the icy water! For value for money, experience, fun and adventure, we would fully recommend that you experience the Buller River with either Marty or Bruce, you won't regret it!
