You would think being at a stunning Glacier town the local caravan park would be spectacular. Afraid not, felt like they only just finished bulldozing the trees, all the atmosphere of a supermarket car park. However, it was clean and functional.
Note it is out of town, and not really walk-able.
Situated a few minutes drive from the town, this is a well spaced out motel complex. We had an ensuite cabin which shares kitchen facilities with 2 other cabins. Room was small but adequate and heated. Well located for all the FJ trips
Great place to stay and it is not a ripoff as you will find elsewhere in Franz Josef. Some other places we looked at were twice the price and there facilities were no were near as good as Franz Josef Top 10. We will definitely stay at Franz Josef Top 10 again and recommend it to others.
This well set out accomodation (self contained unit) was clean, tidy and well stocked. Within easy reach of most activities in Franz Joseph and the staff were extremely helpful. The spa was a good end to the days activities and a bonus that it was free for top ten members!
Very good park motel accommodation.....bathrooms for both bedrooms was a bonus....air con would have been good...The Franz Josef Top 10 park was a nice peaceful park...situated just out of town..ok if you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk into town.....very good park.
Stayed 1 night with a powered site, really nice and modern toilet/ shower and kitchen facilities. Reception were helpful with giving information about site and local attractions. A very pleasant stay with our camper.
