We used a powered site for campervan.
We were recommended a great local restaurant that came to pick us up and drop us back to the park in a strecth Hummer! Great experience and fantastic food and service.
Easy to find and park the van.
Great views.

My husband and I rented a 1 bed cabin en-suite. It had breakfast making facilities but had not crockery or cutlery! There was a separate kitchen just for the en-suite units which was a nice touch.
Check in was very helpful. We were unable to find a TV room, but the games room supplied us with a few games of pool. Communal kitchen facilities and dining was quite large.
This Top Ten is not walking distance to the village of Franz Josef if you wanted to have dinner and a few drinks.

I rented the 3-bedroom Cottage for a lovely one-night stay at the park. The cottage was very clean and well-equipped with all the necessary appliances. We had a really good sleep at the park and woke up early to a beautiful view of the mountains.

Had a 2 night stay here while we were exploring the area. The park is huge and has very up to date facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. They even ran us into the village so we did not have to take our motorhome in. The park is a good walk from the village but only a 5 min drive.
would be a little hectic in peak season.

Room Tip: There are a few restaurants in the village that will drop you back to the park if you eat there. Ask...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on a powered site in early October. It was one of the cheaper Top 10 Holiday Parks that we have stayed in so far at $42/night, and was not very busy whilst we stayed there. There were a lot of facilities, including a television room and games room, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It is further out of town that the other Holiday Park (about a kilometre), but it felt far less claustrophobic; we enjoyed feeling like we had our own space. The sun sets over the mountains, and so it became somewhat of a ritual for everyone to gather around with their cameras around dusk. The only downside was that it was the only place we stayed in where our wireless internet had no reception; however it did work in town.

Super friendly girl at check in. Accidently booked us into a room where the TV was out of order. Apoligised professionally. New room was great. Nice big tv with pay TV:) big rooms self contained with everything you need. Patio outside room had view of snow capped mountains. Enjoyed a glass of wine there. Trampoline and play ground for the kids. A bit isolated from Franz Josef itself but for $93 a night with our big 4 card a great place to stay!

We were only going to stay for one night, but we were advised that skydiving would be fun... So we did it on the advice of the staff member Johan. Was a great experience and we ended up staying fit two nights in our camper van. The waste stations are clean and the dump station was easy to access too. Only problem was that the wifi that we purchased could only be used by one item at a time. Great place.
