Nice beef, veg is a small portion, roast potato’s and mash were lovely. We had 2 deserts the apple crumble and the Eaton mess, the crumble was ok, the Eaton mesh had far to much cream felt about 70% cream the merengue and lemon curd was lovely) just needed more of it rather than cream. Will return maybe in the week to try the standard menu

We had a lunch catch up here and I’ve got to say the food was excellent. The pub is very nice and cosy with friendly staff who will help with any need.
If you are in the area I recommend a visit

Always a pleasure look forward to going roast turkey always top notch. You can sit in the bar or book a table upstairs in the restaurant, we prefer to eat in the bar area, and sample the vast array of handpull and craft beers. It's well worth a visit.

Rare which they could not cook.
We sent it back but it wasn't cracking the 2nd time. It was very disappointing but the staff was lovely and very apologetic. But I won't be rushing back.

After a few people recommended The Talbot Inn 1776 restaurant for its steaks, we decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed. One medium steak and one blue steak were cooked to perfection. Served with the best onion rings I’d ever tasted. Waiter really helpful when discussing how we wanted the steaks and checked on us afterwards to ensure that we were happy with this. Will definately be returning
