“Charming cottage in a relaxing setting”
Reviewed 20 May 2013

We stumbled upon this bed and breakfast while touring the Olympic Peninsula, and were more than pleased with our accomodations. Chris and Jodi were friendly and helpful, our cottage was warm and toasty on arrival, and very welcoming. We enjoyed the quiet and the peacefulness of our lovely cottage. (We stayed in the Forest Romance Cottage). Wish we had been able to stay longer at A Hidden Haven, will recommend to our friends in the area.

Room Tip: We loved the privacy and quiet of the Forest Romance Cottage. (and the heart shaped tub!)

Came in late during the off season. The cottage was well prepared, heated and nicely decorated. Would certainly recommend. A bit off the standard path, but worth the visit. Will certainly come again. Jay Seattle

This past year we stayed again at Hidden Haven, our first visit the previous year was only for a couple of days, this time we stayed for a week and we're already planning for a 2013 stay. When you go back to a place you hope it will be as nice as your last visit - and this certainly was and even better with the longer stay! What a perfect vacation we had again, in one word: relaxing. We stayed again in one of the lovely private cottages, well-equiped with kitchen and laundry. We're not sure what the maid thinks but on both of our visits we've unplugged the television and covered it with a blanket. Instead we get to spend lots of quiet time reading; the patio (with patio set) is perfect in the mornings! Most days we stop by one of the local farmers markets (Port Angeles on Wed & Sat, Sequim on Sat, and of course Sunny Farms open daily in Sequim) on our day trips. The fresh produce and fish have made for many wonderful meals, of course having an equipped kitchen and barbecue on the patio is key. The location of Hidden Haven is perfect for day trips: Lake Crescent, Hurricane Ridge, Port Townsend, and it's so easy to take the ferry over and back to Victoria, BC for a lovely day. Chris and Jodi, the innkeepers, have created and maintain a wonderfully relaxing destination, well worth the name "Hidden Haven!" Our appreciation goes out to them for giving us a most relaxing vacation, twice! And we're looking forward to our next visit.

The host is warm and welcoming and the Morning Dove Cottage is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed and was beyond our expectations. It is well maintained and very clean in a beautiful setting. Ruby, the resident dog, was a joy and showed us the sights along one of the many paths. We didn't want to leave and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

My wife and I decided to spend our second anniversary exploring the Olympic Park area. Found the Hidden Haven on line and booked based upon the great reviews.
We could have not asked for more. We were in the Forest Romance Cottage and found that our individual cabin was furnished to the hilt. Heart shaped jacuzzi tub, fully furnished kitchen, gas fireplace, satellite TV, full laundry facility, and upscale furnishings. We enjoyed taking in all of the sights on the peninsula, but really looked forward to returning to the relaxing cottage. Being able to make our own meals made it more like being home.
Chris shared interesting information about the B&B as well as area information that you would not get at a traditional hotel. Their home was always open with treats, wifi, and DVD movies for enjoyment in the cottage in the evenings. Each cottage offers total privacy in the wooded surrondings.
We would highly recommend the Hidden Haven to anyone looking for something truly different from the commercial establishments.

An Internet search led us to a hidden haven, we had spent 4 nights on the Olympic peninsula and did not want to leave so we stayed an extra night here, it seemed expensive when we booked it but once we arrived and saw our "woodland cottage" we thought it was a deal, kitchen, dr, living room with direct tv leather sofa, bedroom was phenomenal rustic style furniture but very comfortable. Chris and Jodi don't skimp on amenities or the quality of the furnishings they provide,
Very private deer walked by our cottage in the morning, then we walked down to the main house and met Ruby their wonderful dog and took her for a walk, we took pictures of the reindeer and gardens then sat with Chris and Jodi and talked with them for a couple of hours. Great people who really care about their property and their guests. This would be a great place to stay for several nights,
