“The Olympic Lodge felt like home away from home during my stay in Port Angeles.”
Reviewed 26 May 2010

The Olympic Lodge is conveniently located in town with easy access but it appears that you are staying in a beautiful mountain setting. The landscaping and views are exceptional with the fountains and mountains everywhere you look.
The rooms and amenities were luxurious and the staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices reasonably priced and very tasty.
The week I stayed felt like my home away from home, only everything taken care of for me! I loved the Olympic Lodge and will definitely stay there when I return to the Peninsula.

Stayed here one night on business, and would love to bring the family back sometime. Stayed in a single room that had all the basic amenities I would expect. Very clean and new rooms overall with a beautiful view of the golf course and Olympic range from my room. Just like other reviewers have mentioned, the lobby had a postcard view! I'd love to come back sometime and just sit and read a book down there, it's very relaxing.

This was our 2nd time at this hotel. We stayed last year and knew if we were in the area again this would be the place we would stay. It's a hotel but has a lodge feel. The lobby is large with a fire place and soft leather chairs/couches to enjoy the fire. Both times we stayed in a deluxe king on the golf course side. The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The front desk has been professional and friendly and also let us know they were adding a restaurant to the hotel. They have a small breakfast room now but will enlarge it. We will choose the Olympic when we stay in PA next year.

Work colleauges and I stayed one night here and would not do so again. Walking into the Olymic lodge, you get the feel of a classy, lodge feeling with fireplace and nice leather chairs. Unless you plan on sleeping in the lobby, however, and, you will find the 'real' Olympic Lodge. THe rooms are simply dated and just run ragged. There aren't even glasses for water to brush your teeth. The furniture seems bought (used)from a Motel 6. As well, downtown is definitley not walking distance. We paid Hyatt rates for (a mediocre) Econo Lodge room.

On a recent trip to the Olympic Penninsula, we stayed for one night at the Olympic Lodge...and we wished we could have stayed longer. More than any other hotel in Port angeles, the Olympic Lodge has a real Northwest Lodge feeling. After a long day at the Sol Duc hot springs and the national park, we returned to the hotel where a huge fire was roaring in the lobby/great room. We sat on the big sofas and read in front of the fire for an hour or so which was really nice. The rooms are nice, and the beds are very comfortable. I thought that the price was a little high for that area, but it's tough to find hotel deals on the weekends in Port Angeles...and all the hotels were in the same price range. The Olympic Lodge was worth a little more than the others in town.

Stayed for two nights while son was reporting to his new assignment at the USCG station.
Staff was polite, and very informative. Room was large and clean. I am a clean freak and this room did not disappoint. All other hotels seemed to be old and out dated. Do not eat at the Red Lion Inn restaurant - terrible service and food. Tourist restaurant during high season.

My wife and I came over Port Angeles from Seattle for the Christmas weekend to do some snowshoeing up at Hurricane Ridge and explore the area. This was our first time at the Olympic Lodge, and I thought it was an outstanding value. The room was huge, clean and very comfortable. The common area was relaxing and quiet. Service was friendly and helpful. Really, no complaints from me whatsoever, and we'll definitely be going back.
