This is a wonderful hotel. It is clean, modern, well-maintained. My king room was very spacious, with a great view of the gold course behind the hotel. The staff went out of their way to solve one minor problem ( a refrigerator that wasn't cold). I erred when making my reservation and arrived a day early. They found me a room and allowed me to check in at 2 pm on a Saturday. The pool and hot tub were never crowded though, like the rest of the property, was clean and well-maintained. You can't go wrong staying at the Olympic Lodge.

Remarkably well maintained property, including rooms and common spaces. Friendly service. Quiet.

The hotel is full of beautiful photos of the Olympic Peninsula by Ross Hamilton, a well known local photographer.

We will definitely use this hotel every time we are in Port Angeles.

nice rooms with comfortable beds. good location for day hikes and sightseeing. the only drawback is not the hotel 's fault but in sept. at least very few restaurants stay open past nine. btw- a warning to those who smoke: the smoking area is away from the building and uncovered. i noticed this after seeing several people smoking in the parking lot. seems it is closer than the area provided by the hotel

My husband and I picked this location for a two night stay based on other reviews. We were not disappointed. Our room was on the second floor on the golf course with a patio, which we requested as the weather was mild and we wanted to be able to sit outside and enjoy it. The room was large and very comfortable and clean. The bed was so comfortable we asked the desk what it was as we are ready to replace ours at home. I am a very early riser, unlike my husband, and it was nice to be able to go to the very large lobby/sitting area and read in the morning without disturbing him. There was a real wood fire burning as early as 5:30 a.m. There were at least 7 comfy sofas and numerous overstuffed chairs in a room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course so other early risers could have coffee and read without feeling uncomfortable about others in the room. The "restaurant" was small, clean and quiet and the staff very friendly. The menu was adequate and the food tasty. The people behind the front desk were extremely cordial and very helpful with information regarding the area. Highly recommend this hotel.

Will definitely stay here again. It's a value for what you pay. The rooms and lobby are well taken care of and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not right in town, but only about 2 miles.

My husband and I stayed in Port Angeles for three nights before taking the ferry to Vancouver Island. The Olympic Lodge is a very nice motel/inn. The lobby is lovely -- I wish the rooms were as luxurious! But the room was very functional. Nice big bed, very comfortable. It was very quiet. I think the rooms need a little sprucing up though -- the carpet was sort of worn-looking, and our mini-fridge alternated between not closing all the way and wrecking all of our perishables, or freezing them. (We didn't touch the controls.) I did inform the front-desk person on our way out and she was very appreciative that we let her know. The location, near Olympic National Park, can't be beat. I wish the rest of Port Angeles would embrace their proximity to this incredibly beautiful treasure -- the town is shabby and down-in-the-mouth.

This hotel was top of the line. We had a view of the pool and golf course. Location to Hurricane Ridge was perfect. Hotel amendities were first class - bath and body works products, awesome bed, granite countertops, two sinks, spacious room. Bring your bathing suit because the hot tub and pool are heated. This hotel also had a gorgeous foyer.
