My husband and I truly enjoyed our two-day stay at the Sea Cliff Gardens B&B. There was not one thing I would change. The room (Napoleon’s Retreat) was spacious and graciously decorated, with a lovely, comfy bed and smooth, wonderful sheets. The room overlooked lush gardens, meticulously maintained, and the sea - just gorgeous. We enjoyed tea and Lydia's special cookies in the afternoon in our room, feet propped up, checking laptops, but mostly gazing out the window at the supremely awesome view. The whole house is immaculate, well appointed, with classy little touches scattered about, but not cluttered or fussy. The breakfasts were stellar - no hard sweet rolls or boxed cereal - lovely quiche one morning with crispy bacon, robust coffee, fresh fruits. You will not be disappointed! Lydia is a fantastic chef as well as a generous and genuinely fine innkeeper. The owner/gardener/author is equally charming - you have to check out her handiwork on the gardens. A great place to kick back and relax! Highly recommended.

Thanks to Tripadvisor, we found the Sea Cliff Gardens B&B for our trip to the Olympic Peninsula. The facilities are comfortable and our view over the gardens to the straits was amazing. Hostesses (sp?) Bonnie the Master Gardener and Lydia the Incredible Chef made the stay even more special. Bonnie appears to be some relative of Wonder Woman as she does the "gardening" for all of the grounds. How a single person can keep that much dirt filled with such enchanctment is beyond me. The flowers and trees and welcoming benches offered endless moments of discovery and joy to a quiet morning walk. Lydia is an amazing greeter as well as chef. Breakfast both mornings was a treat beyond words. Both of us have dietary restrictions yet that certainly took nothing away from the food. Wonderful, wonderful dishes that filled us up before heading out the door for adventure. I cannot tell you what she served, it should be as much of a joyous discovery for you as it was for us. Sea Cliff is away from any commercial district so we got loads of quiet and amazing views up and down the shoreline. There was everything you could possibly need as a "oops I forgot" item stocked in the upper hallway and a lovelly DVD library for viewing in our room. I imagine Bonnie and Lydia must get tired of hearing high praise, but I would not ever stay anywhere else on the peninsula. And if you are good during your visit, you might just get a chance to meet Max. It was great fun and well worth every penny. Thank you Bonnie, Lydia, and Max!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Sea Cliff Gardens! Our room, Victoria's Repose, was spacious and more than accommodating with a beautiful view over the garden and to the water. The hot tub deck was private and had the perfect amount of space for just the two of us. As they claim, the sheets are heavenly! I'm fairly certain there is not a speck of dust in the entire home - it is lovingly maintained and welcoming. But the best part has to be Lydia's breakfasts! She goes above and beyond to make them special!

Other reviews have given a clear picture of the high quality of the rooms, the facilities provided and the high standards of breakfast and we can fully endorse those views. We stayed for three nights and will remember the warmth of the welcome and genuine interest in ensuring that our visit was all we could wish for even more than the quality of the home. As we left Bonnie asked us how she could improve her B&B; we still can't answer that question.

Room Tip: First floor sea view rooms give a great view down the garden and over the sea towards Vancouver Island.
