I really enjoyed my trip this Wednesday to Port Angeles, and this hotel was mainly a place for me to rest, eat, enjoy breakfast in the morning and head on my way to the coast. I really enjoyed meeting the new innkeepers, Cindy and Chip, and they were so apt to answer any question -- even the dozens I had about directions! They were both smart at knowing when to mingle with guests and when to leave alone. Cindy gave a warm welcom and tour, and both presented a nice breakfast in the morning, working with ease around my distaste for eggs. Just simply wandering the grounds with either wine in hand (nice FULL glass!) or coffee mug in the morning is so enjoyable as well. Like most people say, I wish I would have had more time! Loss of one 'star' above for no hot water for the tub. I was SO looking forward to a long, hot, sudsy soak in the enormous tub! It was most of the reason I paid extra, so hard to swallow the price missing that ammenity. I would recommend testing your water temperature in the early evening to make sure you have hot water if you are planning to take a soak. Just in case! :)

My husband and I booked only one night at Colette's but once we arrived we wished we were staying much longer. The gardens are beautiful and the rooms are thoughtfully appointed. It's hard to beat whale watching with a glass of wine in your hand steps away from your room.

A terrific B&B. Very comfortable & spacious room, beautiful view & gardens, delicious breakfast. It's what all B&B's should aspire to.

My wife and I enjoy staying in nice Inns and B&Bs when we travel, and we frequently get recommendations from Karen Brown's books and from the Select Registry. Of the places we have stayed Colettes is definitely one of the best, and is less expensive than many. Beautiful setting on the water, comfortable, well appointed rooms with large baths, including jacuzzi tubs, a nice great room for gathering, terrific 4-course breakfasts, incredible gardens, and very friendly innkeepers -- Cindy and Chip. Most afternoons there is a wine and cheese gathering in the great room to welcome newcomers and get acquainted. We stayed in the smallest room but it was very comfortable and had large windows looking out over the back gardens and the water. Colettes is a great place to stay to explore the Olympic Pennensula or just to relax for a few days and chill, including a little whale watching.

We really enjoyed our stay at Colette's. Even on the rainy days the place was amazing. The view from our suite was beautiful - the ocean of course and the grounds were immaculate. We enjoyed sipping coffee on a bench in the sun (with polar fleeces of course - it was October!). The room was large enough that we could hang out when it was raining and not kill each other - the huge picture window helped it feel bigger too.

The location was wonderful - perfect spot to hunker down each day after hiking. Many great hikes in close proximity. We hiked everyday. And the breakfasts were huge and yummy too. Can't wait to get back!

Loved it! Relaxing, secluded, beautiful... Perfect place to get away from it all!

We stayed in the Spruce Suite for an overnight anniversary getaway. Giant picture window overlooking the water, super comfy big bed, totally private... and the jacuzzi tub... oh god, THE TUB! It comfortably fit two and also overlooks the water. I could have stayed here forever. The gardens are amazing, so very well maintained and designed. We loved strolling the hidden paths and taking pictures. The breakfast was overwhelmingly huge and delicious - we were a little late to the table (the bed was so comfortable we couldn't didn't want to get up), but Cindy was so gracious and accommodating, making sure our meal was perfect. Great wine and cheese hour too the night before... the backyard fireplace was a relaxing place to sip our wine and watch the ships sail by.

We are very picky when it comes to B&B's - we have such high standards since moving to Seattle from San Francisco three years ago. We have never been able to find anywhere in WA State that measures up to our past B&B experiences in California - until now. We will be back again! We loved it!

A previous reviewer said it best: "Can we move in?" From start to finish the experience was delightful: the rooms were clean, gorgeous (best view ever!), and designed with our comfort in mind; the breakfasts were some of the most delicious we've ever had; the innkeepers were gracious and very helpful; the location was convenient whether you wanted to go to Sequim or Port Angeles.

Overall, Colette's was our best B&B/hotel experience ever. Thank you Cindy and Chip!
