“A Great B&B in Port Angeles, WA”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

We spent the night at the Five SeaSuns Bed and Breakfast in Port Angeles before catching the ferry to Victoria, BC, Canada. The owners, Jan and Bob were gracious hosts and we felt as comfortable as if we we were at home. The breakfast was outstanding!

What great hosts! Great care was taken to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of! My husband has a gluten allergy, so both breakfasts we had were beautiful, tasty, and had a gluten free entree for him. We even had champagne brought to our breakfast table for our anniversary! So thoughtful!

We stayed here for two nights in September while touring the olympic peninsular. The Inn was very clean but we found that there were so many bits-and-pieces of ornaments scattered around our bedroom that finding space for our own luggage was quite difficult. Our room overlooked the busy main road which was quite noisy at times and parking could be awkward with only on-street parking available. Jan and Bob however went out of their way to make all their guest feel welcome. The public rooms were very comfortable and available to guests at all times, together with tea and coffee whenever required.
The idea of all guests sitting down for breakfast together at 8:30 gave us the opportunity to meet and talk with fellow travellers over a delicous and plentiful breakfast

Lovely Bed & Breakfast, but a bad location for relaxation and quiet. The inn is very pretty with amazing gardens and pleasant and professional innkeepers who provide a delicious breakfast. However, if you are looking for peace and quiet, you won't find it here. One of Port Angeles main artery roads runs right in front of the inn and it's very noisy until about midnight. No traffic being re-routed from anywhere else either, unfortunately.

Room Tip: If you do decide to stay, you might try the carriage house, as it seems to be farthest from the stre...

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at the inn other than the street noise. Unfortunately, there is a new bridge being constructed at the intersection of major north/south and east/west streets several blocks away from us and the traffic has been re-routed onto Lincoln Street. We are looking forward to its completion and a return to normal as soon as possible.

Rooms were very clean, bed comfortable & fabulous breakfast each morning. Jan and Bob were helpful with information we were looking for in the Olympic National Park area. All in all a very nice 2 night stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Five SeaSuns on our way to Victoria and on our way back. The inn keepers were pleasant and professional. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. I am an early riser and I could always get hot water for tea and a comfortable chair in the living room. The inn keepers were very accommodating when we arrived late on the ferry. I am used to getting a scrambled egg and some fruit when I travel so I was absolutely delighted when I was served almost the exact same breakfast as everyone else. The only substitution was gluten free bread instead of the pastry. The bread was great and they gave me the brand so I could purchase some. Breakfast was wonderful. We would stay here again.

Room Tip: Don't stay on the first floor. Our friends did. The shower head is very low.

We had the good fortune to spend 3 nights at the 5 Seasuns. Working from inside out, the breakfasts were first rate, the rooms were good, the gardens were well kept and the special effort by the owners was first rate also. Port Angeles, WA is the location of the ferry to Victoria, BC, Canada. Leaving our car at their B&B, they took use down to the ferry in the morning and picked us up in the evening at no additional charge. Going on the ferry to and from Victoria as a walk-on is great as it reduces 90% of the hassle of the border crossing and paper work in both directions.
