“Pretty, but noisy”

This is a beautiful home faithfully decorated with "period" Victoriana and with very friendly management. The price seemed high considering the competition and the location. This B&B sits on a very busy thouroghfare, in fact it is the main road in and out of town and it stays busy into the night and early in the morning. If you choose to stay here and are sensitive to noise, ask for a room that doesn't face the main road.

This review was written during a time when construction in another part of town resulted in the diversion of traffic to the street in front of the inn. It was short term, but it was unfortunate that our guest had to experience it. It is always our goal to insure that our guests are comfortable and enjoy the serenity that the inn and grounds provide.

Terrific landscaping and fountains in a relaxing atmosphere. Great breakfasts. The only complaint I would have is the room was a little small and didn't have air conditioning. A large fan was provided which would prove adequate most days, but it was about 90 degrees when we were there.

The breakfasts are gourmet and absolutely divine. The entire house is charming, quaint, peaceful - everything you could want in a Bed and Breakfast. We had to get up and leave early on our last morning there, and they had a very yummy breakfast packed for us to take along. There's always an assortment of freshly baked cookies waiting for you in the kitchen.

One of the owners is a master gardener, and it shows. You can get lost in the beauty of the surrounding gardens. There's even a nice little waterfall and pond to sit near.

I sound like a broken record, but seriously. This place is the perfect getaway.
