The employee "sammi" was not friendly. had a dirty shirt on that was buttoned all wrong. I get to the room and it smelled horrible. the blanket has a cigarette hole in it. i found a long black hair in the bed. the main light was out so when i came in and turn on the light switch i got nothing, i had to stumble around and find another light switch. the light above the stove was burned out. the tub had hair in it. there was no garbage in the room. there was only one roll of toilet paper. there were spider webs above the fridge that were dusty, clearing been there for awhile. one of the pillow cases has a drop of blood on it. It was so nasty. i am so unsatisfied with this room it makes me sick!! im so mad i cant even think of the rest of the stuff that was wrong...

Do not stay at this hotel

Room was dirty, shower drain had hair in the drain, shower walls were dirty
No hot water for 3 days, said that they fixed everyday but still lukewarm to cold water.
No blanket asked for one but they said they were at the cleaners
No remote for TV,
There was smell coming from the bathroom sink drain which they fixed but the workman left the sink dirty
Toilet clogged but the plunger was broken and could not be used.
Stay next door at the Thornhill Suits which is a 100% better, they were full and could get a room

I saw bad reviews before I booked this year, and wondered "how bad could it get since I was there last year?" I was right - it hasn't changed except for the better (Grab 'n' Go Breakfast) since Extended Stay America took over. The single room was clean, the staff rated 6 on a scale of 5, and the location across from major businesses of all description is always a plus. I've stayed here annually since the property was new. Yes, the furnishings are growing old and the mirrored closet doors have been removed, but Wi-Fi and breakfast are free, the flat screen TV swivels to all corners of the suite and you can have all the towels and soap you want if you'll go to the desk and request them.
If you want Hilton-plush towels and maid service daily, go to a Hilton. If you want a nearly full-sized kitchen, nice bed, good wake up phone service, and (check this out, you smokers -) a couple of dozen smoking rooms and all in the neighborhood of fifty bucks - this is the place. Contractors are on site as we speak, upgrading rooms.
Do I have a complaint? Yup. It's the quarter-ply toilet tissue. I bring my own!

I definitely would recommend this America Extended Stay in Midvale. Especially if you are on a budget. Most of my needs were met and they bent over backwards to help. The hotel was convenient to any and everything you could ever want.

Dirty, poorly maintained, cold and not a place to take anyone. One of our beds did not even have a blanket. Floors dirty. Walls this dirty. No doors on closet. Doors on cabinets at least an inch from even touching. Dirty drawers. Thin old linens, that haven't seen white in years. One of our beds did not even have a blanket. Our room keys had to be reset at least once a day. I cannot say enough bad things about this place

Room Tip: There are not any good things to say about this place ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Certainly..do not take your...

The staff here was GREAT! Very friendly upon checkin. However, the room had visibly dirty carpet from shoes tracking in from outside. The toilet and tub had been scrubbed/used so much it was turning gray. It looked like they tried to upgrade what they could cheaply: took doors off closets to open up space; new comforter and pillows. But the stove inset, refrigerator, cupboards were all 70's old. The parking was not sufficient. I would consider staying here again if they do a total overhaul.

I've been staying in the E.S.A. brand for more than 12 Years 10 months a year in 12 states. This by far is the dirtiest most poorest maintained E.S.A. I've ever stayed in. The carpet looked like something I wouldn't let my dog sleep on. The bedspread was dirty with holes burned in it. The wouldn't flush properly, the refrigerator door wouldn't close or keep anything cold. The smoke detector was disabled. We checked out early. I've never been more disappointed in the E.S.A
brand.
