This is a beautiful place to take photos, hike, take your dog, cycle etc. The grounds are beautiful. This is one of my favorite places in SLC!

The first time I went to Memory Grove I was age 14 and it was a hot summer night (85 at night) and my friend and I sat on the hillside and listened to the water and it was so nice and cool and so silent. My friend showed me that if you drive up the west side road to the Grove it was called gravity hill and even though it looks like you are driving up hill if you put your car in nuetral you actully roll backwards! At age 14 I thought that was so supernatural. If in Salt Lake City visit this park right down town and east of the capitol building and do not forget to try Gravity Hill!

One of my favorite places to ride and walk, Memory Grove can literally recharge your batteries after even the worst day. The flora and fauna are spectacular, the creek rushing down the canyon and the plentiful places to just sit and read or sun yourself or just watch the clouds float by. This has to be the place angels do watch over and take care of.

Nice stream, interesting walking paths, and interesting buildings. You can sit by the stream and think in this quiet place. A few years ago, all the huge trees in the park blew down, but they have planted more. Even though it isn't as beautiful and shady as it once was, it is still a nice place to visit and eat a picnic lunch. Also a great place for wedding photos!
