I love the convenient location and accommodating front desk staff. I stay here all the time! Make sure to enjoy your morning coffee on the rooftop deck! This is no doubt a hidden gem in the Salt Lake Valley area.

Having stayed in numerous Hampton Inn facilities in the past we felt that this was going to be just another HI but to our surprise this facility was similar to some upscale hotels we've stayed in. Everything about the place was great. It's very modern and clean, the location is great . We saw an amazing sunset from our room on the 3rd floor. There is plenty of parking in the garage next door. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Our room had a microwave and refrigerator, plus a large flat screen TV. The breakfast was good, very fresh and well tended to. Nice pool area and hot tub are on the main floor. The staff was helpful and friendly. Only thing I found to be rather odd was that the ad campaign .. which were many ads thought the hotel stating that the sheets and duvet covers are cleaned and washed for your arrival. Isn't that the way it's supposed to be anyway? We even had a post it note placed on our headboard stating our duvet cover & sheets are cleaned for your arrival... as opposed to what? Dirty sheets and covers ? There was no doubt in my mind that everything was clean... they didn't need bother advertising it... It made me feel that they might have had an issue with cleanliness in the past.
All in all I thought this facility was outstanding for the price of $89.00 !

Thanks for the stellar review! To answer your question about bedding. Traditional bedspreads at other brands are NOT laundered very often. A number of news shows did black light exposes of hotels and bedspreads were awful. Hampton is always leading the industry and developed the "clean for every guest duvet" years ago. It is is bright white and it's one of the things that made us different and better than the competition. That is the reason we put a lot of effort in calling your attention to the bedding. Since then many other brands have come up with similar solutions and we couldn't be more proud.

We recently spent 2 nights at this hotel in order to see the sites of Salt Lake City and Park City. This hotel was clean and conveniently located to both cities. Also, it was quite close to the University of Utah. There were several decent restaurants located within walking distance along with a grocery store and gas station. The breakfast was good and they offered delicious warm chocolate chip cookies in the late afternoon. These were a big hit with the kids! Best of all though were the friendly and helpful employees! We would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area.

The door keys didn't work for the first two days, repeatedly...very annoying. The bedding was probably clean, but very rumpled...housekeeping was not attentive to replenishing things on multi-day stay...so that's the negative; the positive is location for us, and it was generally quiet, and clean, nice breakfast.

We had stayed at this Hampton Inn several times in recent years, it is convenient to numerous attractions (U of Utah, Red Butte Gardens, Utah Dinosaur Museum, Hogle Zoo). The third floor balcony offers guest great view over Salt Lake City and the valley - be sure to take in a sunset from the balcony.

Though we had to wait longer than ideal to get into our room, after that, we enjoyed our stay. We were there for a family wedding and used the patio off the 3rd floor for cocktails and lunch. Nice. Comfortable linens and beds and great complimentary breakfast.

This is a nice Hampton just minutes driving distance from University of Utah. There is not much to do within walking distance, but there are several nice restaurants across the street and some convenient shopping including a grocery store. Good business and family hotel. You will need a car to get around from here, but the city center is only 15 minutes by car. Location has a nice, large third floor scenic overlook patio which was great to relax during the evening.
