We stopped overnight while on our way to Yellowstone. Hotel close to the freeway, easy to find, close to restaurants etc. Bed was extra comfortable! decent and filling continental breakfast. Very friendly staff. Hotel located about 9 blocks from Temple Square so we spend 2 1/2 hours walking amoung the gardens and checking out the sights--Only drawback is that the hotel is old so the buildings are shabby and show their age--the elevator door opened before the elevator reached the bottom floor-could be a problem with little kids.

After reading other reviews I decided to try this motel. The beds were about the only good thing going for this motel. This place is very old and needs major updates, the chairs had ugly stains on them and bathroom very outdated. You could hardly turn off the bathroom sink faucet unless you pounded on it. The elevator was disgusting with a filthy floor and the siding had been torn off the walls and there were big glops of dried glue all over them. I would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Wear slippers because you won't want to walk on the carpet.

Much better than I expected for a two star hotel! The rooms are clean, updated, and the beds...Tempurpedic mattresses and we slept so well! Easy to get to the train, and for the money, it's perfect. I wish there were more accessible outlets, and the bathroom could be a bit more updated-although it was very clean, and plenty of towels. Great complimentary bath products, too.

Room Tip: Get a third floor room - excellent view of the mountains.

My husband and I spent the night here on our road trip to Seattle. The staff was super nice. From helping us pull our truck in to giving us directions and tips for our day in the city, they really showed us hospitality isn't only for the south. The walls were a little thin and we could here the people and the dog next to us, but it wasn't too hard to block out. Plus having dogs there ourselves made us a lot more understanding. We would both recommend and stay at this hotel again! Thank you for everything!

Our family stays here everytime we stay in Salt Lake city. The value really can't be beat! The rooms are always very clean and kind of cute. You also get to sleep on temperpedic beds too. The front desk is always very nice and for a cold continental breakfast its still awesome. The TVS are outdated but you aren't staying for the TV. Its in central salt lake and fairly close to the zoo. Theres a McDonald's down the street and gas stations around the block as well.
