Description: A word from The Garden Cafe - Grand America Hotel Ambassador of Special Events, Ali Raafati, works hand in hand with Executive Chef Phillip Yates to make every meal in the Garden Café extraordinary. The Garden Café’s menu pays tribute to the finest “local” ingredients Utah has to offer, such as Niman Ranch beef, Morgan Valley lamb and Zoe’s Farm produce. Our famed Sunday Brunch features live jazz and time-honored favorites such as roasted prime rib of beef, jumbo shrimp, oysters on the half shell, and Alaskan King Crab for starters…and a special buffet designed just for kids! You will want to save room for the dessert display created by our award-winning Executive Pastry Chef, Jeffery de Leon. Experience the joy of sharing good food with friends and beautiful surroundings at the Garden Café (wine list and cocktail service also available).

The breakfast buffet was amazing. There was just about everything you could want, made to order omelette, fruit (many kinds), pancakes, sausage, bacon, pastries, and more and more. The food tasted delicious. Service was quick to remove plates and bring drinks and checked back with us several times. My only complaint was that the buffet comes with coffee, tea or hot chocolate. My husband misunderstood the waitress because she said the juices right after the other drinks and so he though they were included in the buffet and he ordered orange juice. The orange juice alone cost $7. It was $17 for an adult at the whole buffet so I feel like the juice was way overpriced. Overall it was good, we would just make sure to stick with the included drinks next time.

Expected typical hotel café food. The Garden Cafe's breakfast and lunch was very good and an excellent value. Tried the omelettes hamburgers, shakes, salmon, salads - Patio dining weather permitting.

Got there late to watch sunset. We had a great table by window. Had the Thursday special, which was a burrito that was the size of the plate. Was very good food. Great service. Great view. I don't think you would go wrong with this choice.

Both JSMB restaurants are wonderful - I like the garden for a casual lunch that will impress your guest. Great views and casual dining - with very good seasonal dishes.
