I loved the location of this Hotel. It was within just steps of Temple Square. We were able to see the beautiful Christmas Lights and a concert and not have to worry about traffic, and everything else. This Hotel's rooms were comfortable, above average, and came with excellent sleeping beds. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the room afforded access to the internet. All the comforts of home at a very reasonable price. I even ordered room service and used the valet. My wife loved all the pampering and the extras that this hotel afforded to me.

We stayed 4 nights in Oct this year. This hotel is so close to the convention center, you can even pop back to the hotel for a quick lunch! It was very cold and to have a hotel so close by is really godsend!

The room is pretty big, and there is plenty of room for 2 persons to move around. We normally stay at the Hilton, but I think this property is far better in terms of location and in room amenities.

This will be my choice again when I am back for another convention.

Don't bother staying here people, very old dated hotel, circa 1989. The outside was very in need of a paint job. The room was shabby. Chipped furniture, slow shower water, stained bed cover. Noisy construction going on outside, turtle slow internet. I mentioned the Wifi to the front desk receptionist but she acted very surprised. How could they not know?
I checked out & went to the Hotel Monaco a block away, very cozy, chic boutique. It was the same price.

The hotel was feet away from the Salt Palace Convention Center and close to great restaurants. The room we got was big enough to sleep 3 and had a great view of the mountains. The hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again next year for the next convention.

The hotel has a huge lobby with a fireplace which was very welcoming. The rooms are average sized, the bathroom was tiny. Ask for an upper floor for a better view. The worst part was the daily charge of $13 for internet service. Seriously? And there is no airport shuttle. Other area hotels have free internet and airport shuttle. I would walk an extra block for those two items alone.
