Going to the beach in Texas is a little different than most places. In Texas you can drive along the National Seashore for 60 miles. Beach is often full of sea weed and prepare to see trash floating in from the Gulf Of Mexico. Good place for a family outing and not crowded if you have a four wheel drive vehicle you can escape. National Park people at the visitor center are great but the ranger is a little rude. Do we the people not own and pay for this beach.
