We happened to be in Corpus Christi during the week so we decided to go to the Selena Museum. It was nice to be greeted by loud speakers playing her hits. The lobby has several posters and pictures of her and her family, and other famous Tejano singers and groups. We got a tour of her recording studio and then followed onto the museum room. The museum had many of Selena's personal mementos. It is great that they display so many of her famous outfits and clothing items she designed. They also had all her awards and her Grammy. Her Porsche car was there too. They also had her egg collection, some of her sketches from the clothes she designed, many pictures and posters, her gold records, some of the dolls made of her, and Suzette Quintanilla happened to be there. It is a beautiful thing her family has done for the fans to be able to remember her. I felt very fortunate to be able to have seen all this. The gift shop was nice too. They had DVDs, CDs, Selena dolls, T-shirts, hoodies, jewelry, and some posters.
