At a Hilton, you expect a higher level of rooms and service. In comparison to other Corpus hotels I've stayed at, it's definitely nicer and quieter. But you pay for that. The room was on the top floor, so we heard no noise, except when a baby was crying in the next room. As other reviewers have noted, the 36 TV channels feel very limiting. Our pillows smelled like smoke, and a light was burned out in the bathroom too. So we requested that they switch the pillows and replace the bulb. Unfortunately when we returned 8 hours later, the pillows still smelled, and the light was still burned out. Otherwise, the desk staff was very nice and helpful (restaurant recs).
Don't bother having the breakfast at $10, unless you're tight on time. It's mediocre at best (greasy hashbrowns). Instead, you could go to nearby breakfast places and spend about the same for much better food.More
